First Word Capitalized

The first word of a quotation begins with a capital letter. A comma separates the quotation from the words that tell who spoke.

Here are two ways to write a quotation.

Liam screamed as he entered the classroom, “Today I saw a frog with red markings.”

“I’ve never heard of a frog with red markings,” admitted Danial after reading the science text.

Don’t use the word “said.” Use a variety of verbs or synonyms instead of “said.” You might try replied, snickered, wailed, begged, or added.

Now You Try It.

1. Jennifer V. - "Where's my candy? Give it to me now!" my little sister, Joycelyn, murmured in her sleep while she tossed and turned on her pink and comfortable bed. WOWZA YOWZA, Jennifer! Fantastic sentence, and a great example for others to see. There are two sentences within your quote, an appositive for your sister, and nice imagery outside the quote. OUTSTANDING! GO to S&NBKD for being first! The only comment I have would be that more than likely the author would not have Joycelyn upset about not having her candy and then describe a pink, comfortable bed. The focus should be on words that support Joycelyn being upset about the candy. Just a suggestion. You ROCK, Jennifer!

2. Natalie - Bob shouted, "Get off my bed, and get out of my room!!!" as he shouted to his little brother,Joshy, who was laying on Bob's bed while looking though his stuff. Very nice, Natalie. Good for you! Please remember that a space follows a comma; you only use one exclamation mark; avoid words like "stuff," being specific is so much better; avoid repeating the same verb, shouted. May I suggest this: "Get off my bed, and get out of my room!" shouted Bob to his little brother, Joshy, who was laying on Bob's bed while looking through his baseball cards. You ROCK, Natalie!

3. Sarah - Sumiko, a beautiful japanese girl, politely asked, "May I have another slice of your wonderful homemade strawberry cake?" as she carefully held out her plate. Wonderful sentence, Sarah. Remember to capitalize all proper nouns, Japanese in this case. GTG! Good for you! You might consider keeping your clause with the beginning of the sentence. May I suggest this: Sumiko, a beautiful Japanese girl, politely asked as she carefully held out her plate, "May I have another slice of your wonderful homemade strawberry cake?" You ROCK, Sarah!

4. Madison - "It's all gone!" blubbered Morgan, my 4 year old cousin, as the popcorn she was carrying slipped from her hands and tumbled down the stairs of the movie theatre. WOWZA YOWZA! The best one so far (1-6). But the others are pretty good, too. Outstanding, Madi! I loved your use of the word "blubbered" instead of "said." Do you think it adds more to your imagery? I do! One thing to remember is WO < 10 (write out words less than 10). You ROCK, Madi!

5. Jay - "Where did you put my lunch money!!!! I want it now!" I Screamed at my older sister, Susan, which she slammed the door and put my lunch money in her wallet. Very nice, Jay. Remember, only one punctuation mark after a sentence (this is often misused), and please double check for words that should not be capitalized, such as "screamed." Also, what kind of word is "Where"? And which should be as. May I suggest: "Where did you put my lunch money? I want it now!" I screamed at my older sister, Susan, as she slammed the door and put my lunch money in her wallet. You ROCK, Jay!

6. Cameron. G - "AHHHHHHH! It's my turn now," I yelled to my sister, Molly, while she ignored me, and continued playing Wii. Fantastic, Cam! Go to sizzle for your nice work! I will explain on Monday about your verbs. Until them, may I suggest this: "AHHHHHHH! It's my turn now," I yelled to my sister, Molly, while she ignored me and continued to play Wii. You ROCK, Cam!

You six students ROCK! I'm so proud of you. And yes, I do know that I said the first five get to go to S&NBKD. Do it!

7. Sophie - "My wallet and bus pass are gone!" exclaimed Sophie, a girl who does not often lose things, as she rummaged though her backpack like a cat clawing the sofa. WOWZA YOWZA, Sophie! Terrific. Simply Terrific! You used an appositive and a simile. Fantastic! Go to SIZZLE! You ROCK, Sophie!

8. Cedrick - "The bus left without me! I gotta catch it!" Daniel yelled to his friend, Jack, as he ran like an Olympic gold medallist. Fantastic, Cedrick! Simply fantastic! WOWZA YOWZA! You used an appositive and a simile. I love it when students apply what they are learning into their assignments! Go to SIZZLE! You ROCK, Cedrick!

9. Vincent - Sprinting as fast as my legs could carry toward the boat, which was slowly drifting away before my eyes, I screeched at the top of my lungs, "Stop! You forgot me! I want to go to camp, too!" Terrific, Vincent! WOWZA YOWZA, dude! Nice imagery; good appositive; fantastic quote. May I suggest adding the word "me" to your sentence: Sprinting as fast as my legs could carry me toward the boat, which was slowly drifting away before my eyes, I screeched at the top of my lungs, "Stop! You forgot me! I want to go to camp, too!" I also liked that you applied a recent lesson to your sentence, using the word "too" in your quote, and you used the proper punctuation before and after this word. Go to SIZZLE! You ROCK, Vincent!

11 Alex - "Get back here and show yourself!" I screeched at my older sister, Kaelan, when she threw a nerf dart that whizzed past my head andscurried away like a frightened cat. Terrific sentence, Alex! I loved your simile, too. Atta boy! One thing: Nerf is a proper noun and needs to be capitalized. May I suggest: "Get back here and show yourself!" I screeched at my older sister, Kaelan, when she threw a Nerf dart that whizzed past my head and scurried away like a frightened cat.

12. Brian - "Oh my gosh you stink!" I yelled at my older brother, Douglas, when he farted right in my face than started to laugh like a hyena.Funny sentence, Brian. I hope it is true. Ha! You had a great simile, too. Remember “than” compares things and “then” lets you know a process…if this happens then that will happen type of thing. Notice also where I put a comma and another suggestion: "Oh my gosh, you stink!" I yelled at my older brother, Douglas, when he farted right in my face and ran away laughing like a hyena.

13. Matt - "You idiot!" I shrieked as I tackeled my younger brother when I caught him rummaging through my personal box.Terrific imagery outside your quote, Matt. Remember to have a space after your ending/closing quotation mark, and remember to look for the auto spelling/grammar check. You have a space before the word “as” and tackeled in misspelled; noticing the lines would have helped you. May I suggest: “You idiot!" I shrieked as I tackled my younger brother rummaging through my personal box.

14. Jonny -"I like losing brain cells!" The Old wrinkled faced witch screeched while she was hitting her head with her metal broomstick. Nice attempt, Jonny. But please use your quotation sheet. You don’t capitalize the T in “The” after the quotation. Adjectives are also not capitalized. May I suggest: "I like losing brain cells!" the old wrinkled-faced witch screeched while she was hitting her head with her metal broomstick.

15. Lindsey - "Come on Bethany! Its my turn on the computer." Megan yelled when she was jumping up and down like a monkey wanting bananas. Nice sentence, Lindsey. I love the imagery you created with your simile. Remember to look for the auto spelling/grammar check. You used the pronoun “Its” instead of the contraction “It’s.” Bethany is also an appositive and needs punctuation before and after her name. Please use your quotation sheet, Lindsey, for success. You should have a comma after “computer.” May I suggest you also change when to while: "Come on, Bethany! It’s my turn on the computer," Megan yelled while she was jumping up and down like a monkey wanting bananas.

16. Analena - " Give my ipod back!" I screeched at my older sister Sophie, running after her like a squirrel wanting his nut. Nice attempt, Analena. You're getting there. Please remember to apply what you have learned about appositives; they have punctuation before and after them; that there is no space after the opening quotation mark; and that your simile (I'm proud of you that you attempted one) needs to add proper imagery to your writing. In your case, squirrels don't chase nuts; they gather them. Pick something different that perhaps runs around. Suggestion: "Give my iPod back!" I screeched at my older sister, Sophie, as I ran after her around our backyard like a lion chasing its prey.

17. Freddie - "You're so dum, " my brother snareled at me as he snatched my Math Unit Two Test from my hand and took a long look at my grade. Bad brother! Bad brother! Ha! Nice sentence, Freddie. Good imagery. May I suggest: You're so dumb, " my brother snarled at me as he snatched my Math Unit Two Test from my hand and took a long look at my grade. Dumb is spelled with a "b" and you misspelled snarled. Using the spell checker would catch these error, kiddo.

18. Ryan – “Oh man, I lost my phone again.” Ryan, the genius, grumbled as he jumped up and down searching for the phone. Nice attempt, Ryan, but please use your quotation sheet.This is the direction on your sheet and at the top of this page: A comma separates the quotation from the words that tell who spoke. Please use the cues given to you for your success. I'm also not clear about the imagery you are seeking to create. Why are you jumping up and down? Happiness or frustration? Suggestion: “Oh man, I lost my phone again,” Ryan, the genius, grumbled as he jumped up and down searching for the phone (not sure how to fix the jumping up and down part).

DIRECTION QUOTATIONS

- a report of the exact words used in a discourse

When you repeat someone’s exact words, the repeated words are a direct quote. When you write, quotation marks (“ ”) help identify and set off a quotation.

“	opening quotation mark	You begin with this quotation mark, with no space between it and the quote.
”	closing quotation mark	You close with this quotation mark, with periods and commas ALWAYS inside the quotation. Other punctuation marks depend on the quote.

My favorite book by EGS is The Witch of Blackbird Pond. I love the story of Kit and how she had to adapt to life in New England. I think I learned more about the time after the Pilgrims by reading this book than any textbook. I learned how hard they had to work and how people behaved to anyone who was different than they were. Actually, I think I learned that people are the same. We all have to learn how to deal with people who have come from different circumstances than we have experienced. Elizabeth George Speare was probably the author that started my love of historical fiction. I still love reading novels by people who have researched the time period and write great stories. I learn more about history when there is a character that is living the time period than just reading the "facts."

I suggest that you read the previous Alex Rider series books before you read this one. Snake head, the seventh book int the Alex Rider series, is a action packed book about a teenage spy named Alex Rider. The story begins when Alex falls from space to Australia( you have to read the previous one to understand this part), Ethan Brooke, head of the Australia secret service asks Alex if he would investigate on one of the most ruthless gangs called the Snakehead. Normally, Alex would have immediately declined this offer, but the catch was that he would be doing this operation with his godfather. Alex, who longs to learn more about his dead parents agrees to this dangerous mission. He and his godfather must act as refugees to spy on the Snakhead, but many dangers await them..........

Living in a potters village, Tree- Ear always watches the potters in his spare time. His favourite potter to look at is potter Min. He is known for his very detailed work. One day Tree-ear was watching Min make pots when Min left his station for a moment. Tree-Ear decided to go look around at Min`s work, but accidentally broke one of the pots. In order for Tree-Ear to pay back for his destruction, he must work for Min for ten days. Tree-ear still wanted to work for Min and learn how to make pots. That was when Min hired Tree- ear a job for no payment. Even though Tree-Ear did not get a pay, he was still ambitious to be a potter. Will Tree-ear become a potter? Read to find out!

I rate this book a ten!
Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkabanis a really good book. I like this book because the story was pretty simple to understand and it was a nail bitting book. Ones you start it you can't stop. It all started when Harry blew up his aunt. Then he meets the dementors in the train on his way to Hogwarts wizard world school. Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley and, his owl, Hedwig joined him in Hogwarts. In the train while going to Hogwarts Harry encountered the dementors and when he was playing quiditch, a sport in the wizard world, he encountered it. There was a new professor in the Hogwarts and his name was Professor Lupin. Serious Black, a prisoner, had escaped from the most secured jail in the wizard world, Azkaban. The Dementors were sent out to find him but then they attacked Harry. Later on when Harry was called into Professor Lupin’s office he figured out everything. Lupin was really a ware wolf and he helped Black escape. He had the mauldrin’s map. The mauldrin’s map is a map of every wizard or witch in the wizard world. He had the power to drag wizards or witches to another place and Lupin did that. Lupin helped Black out because Black and Lupin tried to kill this rat which was actually a wizard and that rat was Ron’s. Then Harry got to know that Black was in jail because Black helped Lord Voldemort, Harry’s bad enemy, kill his parents. Although after that Harry asked why did the dementor’s attack Black and him? Harry learned that Serious Black, the prisoner of Azkaban, was his godfather! He figured out that that is why the dementors attacked him; he was related to serious Black. Harry learned that Lupin was evil, so Lupin ran away, but was eventually caught. Black always stayed in touch with Harry. Black escaped from Hogwarts and now he’s roaming around in a forest. Nobody knew that Serious Black was Harry Potter’s godfather except for Harry and Hermione and Ronald and Hedwig and last but not the least Professor Dumbeldore, the headmaster of the school.

Most people around the world want global warming to stop. Each person does his/her part to help out with stopping it. They're six kids who, too, want it to stop, but these six kids are a bit different. The kids were either donated, sold, or taken away to a laboratory. In the laboratory they test on those kids. These six kids had bird DNA put in them so they were part bird. The charataristics that were part bird, is their wings. The kids in the group, or flock as they prefer, are Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel. Their names sound weird, because they chose them themselves. Max is the leader of the flock, that means she is the one to give the commands. Fang is a bit like the co-leader of the flock, that means on long journeys he usually comes with Max. Iggy is blind. You probaly wouldn't be able to tell that at first glance, because he can find his way around just like anyone else, though him closing his eyes a lot would tip you off. Nudge is the most talkitive of the group. She almost always has something to say, even when they are in a deadly situation. Angel is the youngest of the group, she also has the most, and best, powers of the flock. If you are wondering what I mean by "powers" then I suggest for you to read the book to find out. This book is mostly about These six kids who go to Anartica to learn about the cause, and effect global warming has on us. While they're there, a new enemy of theirs is plotting to take them captive, and bid them off at an auction, by force. What will happen to them? Is their fate to be used as maids or butlers? Will they escape their new enemy? And will they be able to convince people to prevent global warming? Read the book to find out.

If you've read Eragon, then you've got to read Eldest. But you have to read Eragon frst otherwise Eldest doesn't make much sense. This book is about the leader of the Varden, Ajihad, dying and his daughter, Nasuada, takes his place. Eragon sets off on a journey to go to Ellesmera to complete the second half of his training to become a full dragon rider. A lot of surprising things happen in Ellesmera. They find a place and name it Terabithia. In order to get there, you have to swing on an enchanted rope over a creek. They go almost every day, until April, when it rained almost every day. While aboard the ship, David met a guy named Alan who was hiding from the military because he was accused of a murder. David and Alan ran and hid around the huge island for a long time until they decided that they would go back to David’s uncle and live in his house. So they went to David’s uncle, who was arrested for trying to kill David, and took his house to live in. Everything was okay until Alan has to go back to where he came from. Will Alan go, or stay? This is an amazing book! I really liked this book and thought it was very good! I would rate this a nine out of ten because of its action and interest.I think this book has a lot of action because there's always a part where you got really hooked to the book and you don't want to stop reading because of all the action. When Harry is battiling Voldemort in a dungeon and in the end, Harry defeats Voldemort. I was really excited at that point. I thought this book had a lot of interest in it because of all the magic and magical things. It made the book really good with all the descriptive words. I thought it made the whole story very interesting. In the book, when ever Harry, Ron, and Hermonie go to potion class, the author almost always describes all the wierd potions and objects they see in Snape's class. So read this book to read all the action and excitement!

"Why does this stone come back to me?" asked Henry.
"Can we go now? It's already 6:47pm, mom will get mad if we don't get home,"asked Kally's brother,Henry.

"Not until this experiment will work!" Henry put on a sorrowful face to his sister.

"Henry get back here, you too Kally," yelled his mom, "It's time for your chores." While he was loading the dishwasher Henry thought, how could a stone come skipping back? he promised himself he would go back and investigate that night.

HualinS:
That night, when all the Wilders were sleeping, Henry woke up at 3:00 am and ran to the lake. He had buried the stone, he dug it up and started doing that experiment again. "OK, take one!" Henry threw that stone into the water, but it skipped back.

At 4:00 am, it's been exactly one hour, at last, Henry gave up. "Dumb stone! Hey! What if this stone is magical? No, there's no magic in this world. Never mind." Henry walked back home, just when Mr and Mrs Wilder were there looking angry. Gulp.

"Its 4:00 in the morning young man, how long have you been gone?" Asked Henry’s
mom.

"Um, well you see I-"

"Go to bed," Mr. Wilder was being easy on him, "we will talk about this tomorrow."

Henry slowly trudged upstairs, put on his PJ's and slowly slipped into his bed. With a tear in his eye, he closed his eyes, and got caught in a dream.

Mr. Wilder was wrong. They didn't talk about it on the 29 of July, because there was no 29 of July.

When Henry woke up, he lay there a few minutes, then pulled the covers off him and got out of bed. When Henry walked downstairs, his family was doing the same things as yesterday. Same food, same conversation, same clothes. Henry quick closed his eyes, counted to ten, then opened them again. Nothing changed. Henry breathed hardly.

"Hey Henry!" Shouted his sister, "Let’s go toss rocks at Merry Too Park."

Henry froze. That was the same thing that his sister had asked him yesterday. He looked at his watch. Up in the top right hand corner it read, Saturday, July 28. Henry gasped, that was yesterdays date. He was reliving the same day.

The same things happened yesterday (or should I say today), his clock shut off at 3:00 AM. His DS shut down at the exact same time, as today. But for some reason, the stones Henry had found where shaped oddly different than last time. Henry realized, it
must've been a dream!

No, it couldn’t have been a dream, Henry thought. Henry knelt down by the bank of the lake in Merry Too Park, and stared into his reflection. No.

“Can we go now? It’s already 6:47pm; mum will get mad if we don't get home." Henry's sister, Kally, asked him. “Ah, Yeah,” Henry answered. As Kally and Henry walked back to their house, Henry noticed something that he didn’t see yesterday.

Behind the large rock were four small golden rocks. Could they have been there yesterday? Henry thought,

KatieQ:
No, Henry decided, they were not there yesterday. Henry wanted to examine them so he took one home. All night he couldn't help, but think about the stone he was so sidetracked that he forgot to put on his PJ's. The next morning like clockwork he woke up at 3:00A.M, even though he wasn't planning to get up this early again. Suddenly like a magnet was pulling him he started to walk down the hill to the lake. He couldn't stop walking, his feet were directing him to the same spot he stood before, and he stopped. His hand was moving to the pocket he put the golden stone in, but this time when he pulled out it was a clear blood red. His hand started to get into his rock skipping position.

AustinHe
"AH!" he yelled trying to run but he was dead still. "Hellllp meeee," moaned an eerie scratchy voice that seemed to come from the rock. He skipped the rock and went up at the same exact time as yesterday. This time however his parents were zombies.

"Uh... Mom?" Henry asked, "Why are you a zombie?"

"I'm not a zombie, I just... uh... had an accident in the bathroom.... Yeah, thats it... I had an accident in the bathroom."

"Mom, are you all right?"

"Yes, of course... um... well you see, I don't know what happened to me, I just woke up, and I was coverd in toilet paper."

HualinS:
"You sure? I mean, I didn't hear you waking up."

"Never mind. Darling, where's you daddy?"

"What? daddy's not here yet? but how- I just saw him earlier, about a minute ago."

Just then, they heard a crash. "George? honey, it is you, I mean, is it?"

Another crash.

"Dad?" "George?"

More crashes, then a scream.

"Where's Kally?" asked Henry.

"She's out with your dad. She got lost, too, so I went out to find you and your dad went to find Kally."

"Mom? Henry?" a familiar voice called,
"Kally?"

"Henry? open the door!"

"Uh, ok."

Kally came in. She was drenched in sweat. "Why did you get lost?" Henry was suspicious. "I got worried about you, so I went to find you. Then I got lost, and found two golden stones on the lakeside of Merry Too Park." she explained.

"Where's dad?"

"Not sure."

"Kally! Isn't George with you, darling?" asked Mrs.Wilder, with fear in her voice.

Just then, another crash, then a scream, then, to their amazement, silence.

SamanthaD:
Henry closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He did'nt know how long he stood there like that, but when he opened his eyes again, he was standing on the beach where he had first thrown the stone. Henry looked into the clear water and gasped. There was an image there, an image of his home. The picture began to move, and Henry saw his father laying on the floor, his mother slumped in a chair, both knocked out, and Kally, sitting on the floor and crying. "Henry! Henry, where are you?" she sobbed. Suddenly a shadow passed over her and Henry heard a scream. Then Kally was gone. The image faded, but then Henry heard a scream from behind him. He spotted Kally being dragged under the water. Henry screamed. Then, a dolphin popped out of the water. Without a moment's hesitation, Henry hopped on its back and it pulled Henry under the water as they raced after Kally.

JunMinA:
It was a weird sensation! Henry felt the warm morning water all over his body. He opened his eyes and found himself on the dolphin with something in front of him. He could barely make out what it is. Then he was lost in his own thought. He was feeling sleepy. He fought himself back to counciousness. Then he remembered what started this. He stared at his pocket. 'This is all the rock's fault," He shouted, but instead it came out as a gurgle. His vision now gained enough expereince in the water that he could just make out what it is. He gasped.

HualinS:
"Er, um, where am I?"

No answer.

"Mom? Dad? Kally?"

Still no answer.

Just then, right in the middle of the lake, he saw Kally. She looked as if she was the exact same as how she looked like on July 28th. Then Henry checked his watch:

October 31st, Happy Halloween!

was written on it. "So that's why strange things were happening."

Then, he saw his dad and mom! In the middle of the lake. There was a little island there. They were eating breakfast! Just the same as the 28th of July. Then, he saw himself!

This is what happened in Henry's vision:

Henry walked down the stairs, and, he saw Kally. "Hey Henry! Let's go toss rocks at Merry Too Park!" Kally told Henry, excitedly. "Uh, ok." Henry replied back.

They walked to Merry Too Park and picked up a rock. After about 2 hours, they headed home. They had lunch, and, at 3:00, Henry and Kally went to Merry Too Park.They played for about 4 hours, when, "can we go now? It's already 6:47 pm. Mum will get mad if we don't get home."

Then, the screen Henry was watching from turned blurry, then,

"Not until this experiment will work!" Henry put on a sorrowful face to his sister.

The screen turned blurry again.

"Ah, yeah." Henry and Kally walked home.

YonJooK:
Then suddenly something cold touched him. Then he was grabbed by something and was gliding through the water like what had happened to Kally. He then was pulled into the water and Henry became unconscious. It was a few hours later when he was awoken by the sunlight beating on him. Henry woke up and found himself in a small cage in the jungle.He looked around. There were others locked up too but they didn't look like humans. What's going on? He thought.

KatieQ:
"Who are you?" Henry asked, a bit nervous. Yet the "people" didn't answer. "Who are you?" He asked this time almost screaming. All the people looked at him like he had 300 heads. Henry closed his eyes and thought, I don't think these people understand English and by the look of the lock on the cage I guess that I won't be leaving soon. I want to get out. This time when he opened his eyes he found himself in a really cold place.

Now, the place he was didn't look that friendly either. The walls were all covered in ice and it was really dark. The walls were covered with icicles. Henry just noticed he was freezing cold to death. He suddenly saw a bright purple light coming from the distance. Henry ran to it but it disappeared. Henry didn't know what to do. He really wanted to cry but he knew he had to be brave. Then, he thought of a splended idea.

HualinS:
"There has to be a exit, well, at least somewhere." He looked around. He saw the light again! It was coming from the north-west place. He ran to it, and he knocked the glass window open. There stood Kally.

But she didn't look like Kally at all! She had brown eyes! Kally's supposed to have blue eyes, her hair was curly, and weird, she was sleeping.

"K-Kally?"

"What? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Henry? is this really you? I-I'm dreaming!"She woke up.

"No, you're not. Where's mom and dad?"

"Mom was locked in the locker next to mine, and dad, I'm not sure. Hey, have you read the sign on the wall?"

"No."

"It says,
If you want to save three,
then you'll have to pay fee.
The fee:
Only when you're here,
you're aloud to say, fear.
And what does that mean?
Save your own theme.
Make sure you're out in two hours,
or else you will be cooked with flowers.

"Huh?" Henry was confused.

"Well, basically, they're saying you have to leave in two hours, or else you'll be trapped in here forever."

"With you guys?"

"Ya."

"Where's that paper? I'm taking the risk to sign it."

"Outside, check the door."

Henry went out the door, and he signed the paper.

'Henry Bravery Wilder III'

The door slowly opened, and Henry was in the room, with Kally, again.

KatieQ:
"What do I do now?" Asked Henry. Kally nodded toward the window. He saw something tall, green, and snake-like. It spoke to Henry, "You need to come with me ,and complete the first task."

HualinS:
The snake-like dude lead Henry toward a door. Henry walked through it. "First task, you must go through this bridge. You're companions will be, for only this task, Jelly, Peanut, and Butter.

"These are the rules: Henry, you must always be on the boat." He pointed to a small, little boat. "The water will appear soon, so don't worry. Jelly and Butter may not be left alone. Neither can Jelly and Peanut. You have three minutes, get ready, START!"

"OK! Why don't I take Peanut over and then take Jelly?" Henry suggested.

"But when you take Peanut, Butter and I will be together!" Blabbered Jelly.

"I got it!" replied Peanut. "Henry, you take Jelly over, first, then return for me. After I get there, you take Jelly back! Once she's there, you'll take Butter over. And last, you'll return for Jelly."

"Peanut, that's amazing!" Jelly and Butter complimented their friend. "OK, we don't have long, let's get going!" Henry pointed out.

Two minutes later, they completed the first task.

The snake-like dude appeared again. "Your second task, battle with your eyes closed. Your companions are: Battle Girl Gina, Ninja Boy Jackson, and Black Belt Bole. Now let's begin."

YonJooK:
" Round 1! You're against the 3 eyed monster! Ready Set GO!!" shouted that snake-like dude as he ringed the bell.

HualinS:
Gina started to kick that three eyed monster, but then, it seized her and she went into the air. Then, Bole started punching the three eyed monster, but it grasped Bole and he went flying, too. Last, Jackson used his head to spin himself and he crashed into the monster. But the monster was too strong for a little kid, so Jackson was thrown in the air, just like Bole and Gina.

The monster looked at Henry. He looked around and saw nobody but Henry wanted to challenge him.

Henry looked at Bole, Gina and Jackson. Jackson was trying to break free, Bole was trying to punch the monster, and Gina, to Henry's surprise, looked calm.

"Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" the monster ran to battle Henry. Just then, Gina winked at Henry.

"Hey, big guy!" Gina shouted in the monster's ear, "it must be pretty boring, huh? letting you do all the work, tournaments... did you ever think of quiting?"

"RAR?" the monster nodded. "Well, then, say 'I QUIT' loudly, okay?"

"R QUIRT!" the monster tried to pronounce it. Then, the snake-like dude appeared again. "What do you mean you quit, Monstrus? You have a round to battle in!"
"R QUIRT!" Monstrus told the snake-like dude. "But..."

"R QUIRT!" Monstrus roared. That gave Henry the creeps.

"Fine, kids, you win the second round. Now, the third round..." the snake-like dude looked at the three companions. "Bye, Henry!" they said together, then they disappeared.

"Bye."

"Your last task, the hardest of all, will be a brain-testing task. Your companions are, School Kid Julia, Scientist Ross, and Collector Megan. They all have great brains. Can they help you? Now, let's begin!"

The scene of battle room vanished, and Henry found himself on the 43rd story of an apartment building. Standing by his side was School Kid Julia, Scientist Ross, and the very special Collector Megan. Henry looked down.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!"

"Would you just shut up?" Julia screeched.

HualinS:
The snake-like dude appeared again. "Your last task, anybody have a Barbie, or something?"

"I do! I collected it when I went to Bei Jing!" Megan shouted out.

"Great! Now you'll have to bungy it all the way down to ground floor. And let it get up again without it breaking. If you can get this right, Henry, you'll be the chosen one."

"You have 10 minutes! Ready, set, GO!"

"Here's 10 rubber bands!" Megan got 10 rubber bands from her huge bag.

2 minutes later, they tied the rubber bands to Dolley, Megan's Barbie.

"Bye, Dolley!"

''He never said we couldn't go down floor by floor carrying the rubber bands attached to Dollie and climb back up,'' suggested Julia

"But, where are we going to find stairs?" Questioned Ross.

The three kids looked around.

"Your right, there are no stairs here, the only thing is a ladder that is brocken half way down," Megan noted.

"We could use the wood to make a pole that we could keep lowering, that is if Megan has something that we can use to attach the poles in her bag."

HualinS
"Actually, I have something in my pocket!" Megan told Ross.

"Let's hurry up! We only have have 5 minutes left!" Henry reminded them.

"According to my calculations, 1st, Megan, check Skippy, then, we need the strongest person here."

They looked at Henry.

"Fine!"

"Henry, look at the doll, and throw it as hard as you could."

Henry threw the doll as hard as he could the rubber bands stretched down to the next story where they got stuck on the pole henry climbed down and repeated the process. He went down then up when he got down everyone shouted, "we did it!"

HualinS:
"Skippy went off, snake-like dude!" Megan shouted.

"YES!"

"Very good, Henry!" the snake-like dude was happy. "You've completed all three tasks!"

"Can I go and find Kally and the others now?" asked Henry.

"Sure! See you in 2 hours, if you can make it. Here's the Icicle Palace's map. Wish ya luck!"

"Thanks," Henry took the map and walked out of the room, and to his surprise, Megan followed him out.

"Hey Henry, do you need any help with finding your family?" Megan questioned.

"Uhhhh..... I think I'll be okay..... you know, on my own."

"Well, are you sure, because this place is kinda hard to find your way around in, and I mostly have everything you need for what you need to go threw."

"Oh really,"

"Test me."

"I need a necklace made of jewels and diamonds. I bet you don't have that!" Henry told Megan.

"Hold on for a sec..." Megan reached into her bag, and pulled her hand out with no success.

"See, I told you you couldn't do it!" Henry snickered.

"Wait a second!" Megan stuck her hand in her back pocket, and pulled out a beautiful necklace with jewels and diamonds on the front. "A HA!"

Henry sighed, "OK come on."

Henry and Megan walked threw the corridor with out a word

HualinS:
"I first need to find Kally, then Mom, and last, dad." Henry told Megan.

"Any idea where they are?" Megan was suspicious.

"Um, no. Where are we?"

"We're on the 12th floor. Oh, by the way, I need help, too. No offense. My parents were trapped in here, and they say that the only way I can find them is, I signed that paper. And did you know, if you didn't beat them, then you'll have to become a companion? I lost on the last round. So then, at last, someone got me out. THANK YOU! HENRY!

"Uh... Your welcome I guess."

Henry and Megan walked around the corner, and were face to face with Kally.

"Henry!" Kally shouted. "I was so worried about you!"

"Why were you worried about me when you should be worried about yourself?" Henry asked Kally.

Kally shrugged.

Meg.S
"Kally, I know that me and you are different in lots of ways, but please stay with me and Megan."

"Whats in it for me?" Kally asked.

Megan thought fast, "A necklace full of jewels and diamonds."

"Yeah... Right.... You are trying to tell me that you have a necklace with jewels and diamonds on it?" Kally answered.

"Yes," Megan pulled out the necklace from her back pocket.

"WOW!" Kally was surprised, "DEAL!" Kally reached over and shook Henry and Megan's hands, then, graved the necklace.

"OK! Mom got Thorn in a dungeon, or something, and dad is one of the companions for the 4th task." Kally explained.

"But there is no 4th task!" Megan reminded Kally.

"There is! After you save us, you'll have to battle in the last three tasks. But, I should have told you this, the owners here made sure one of the people part of a family was a companion for the last three tasks. So that's why they are so wicked." Kally began to cry. "Sorry, Henry! I should have told you this before!" She ran into tears.

"This is awful! The only way out is to leave dad here alone, and never take him back again! SORRY!" Kally burst into tears, again.

"What about my parents, have you heard of Mr. and Mrs. Sommerfeldt?" Megan was getting scared, just like Henry.

"Mrs. Sommerfeldt is in the 6th task, and Mr. Sommerfeldt is Ms. Chorsie, the owner of this ice palace, assistant. Oh my god! I thought you were all right!"

"How the heck are we going to find both of our parents in less then two hours?" Asked Henry.

"I have no idea, but we are gonna have to try our best," Megan noted.

Suddenly, the room become pitch dark.

"AHHHHH!" Kally screamed.

"Kally? Where are you?" Henry was getting to be very scared.

"Guys, its me, Dad," said a voice.

"DAD?" It didn't sound like Mr. Wilder.

"Sweety?"

Sweety? It didn't sound like dad at all!

"DAD!" shouted Megan.

The lights came on again, and there,was Megan's Dad, Mr. Sommerfeldt.

"Where are we?" Asked Megan.

"The land of Abbyis."

"Dad, we have almost one hour and forty-five minutes left to find Mom, and Henry and Kally's Parents, or else we will have to stay here forever!"

"Chill, Megan! I kind of like it here!" Mr. Sommerfeldt told Megan, "I mean, getting payed $3,000,000 a month! I'm staying here."

Just then, Megan burst into tears. "You want to watch me grow up in this stupid palace? You want to see me have my life in here? What kind of father are you?" She shouted at her father.

"Chill, Megan! Did you notice that Bethany is a companion for the second task? She named herself, 'Gina'." Mr. Sommerfeldt tried to cheer Megan up.

"Where's mom?"

"With Lindsey, of course! You didn't think that we would leave Lindsey alone, she's only eight years old!" Mr. Sommerfeldt replied.

Megan quickly added in, "yes Dad, but my real question was were are they?"

"In our hotel suite, of course!"

"Hotel suite?" questioned Megan.

"Duh, I mean every palace has to have a suite, right?" Mr. Sommerfeldt winked at Megan.

Megan frowned. She looked at Henry. Henry was looking around the palace. Along with Kally, he was wondering, actually.

Just then, a lady appeared! She had a pale face, she has brownish-blackish hair, her clothes are red, but her fingernails were a dark brownish color, close to black. Her earrings are black, her shoes are black, and her necklace is black. She also wore a beautiful ring, which shimmered in the light. (It was ruby red.)

Right that moment she appeared, Mr. Sommerfeldt fell to his knees.

"Madam Chorsie" He spoke in a clear voice, "it's great to see you! I never knew you would appear in such a. . . such a. . ." he paused for a second, "such a boring time." Megan finished off that sentence. "No, such a wonderful time!" her dad looked angry at her.

"Who is she?" Henry and Kally asked at the same time.

"She's the famous keeper of this palace! Madam Chorsie! She's an awesome woman, that's for sure." Mr. Sommerfeldt blabbered out.

"What's her first name?" Megan asked.

"Valerie Cammirika Chorsie" That Chorsie lady answered. She was only wearing a dress and she's not even cold! Henry was freaked out.

Henry has just noticed that she looked a bit like him. Freaky much?

"Why are you even here? Megan asked, "because you want to show off you clothes?"

"How dare you!" Ms. Valerie narrowed her eyes, and she looked exactly like Henry!

"I'm sorry to burst your bubble," Megan mumbled, "but those clothes aren't that special."

"MEGAN!" Mr. Sommerfeldt yelled, "YOU GO GIVE YOURSELF A TIMEOUT RIGHT NOW!"

"Why would I give myself a timeout?" Megan asked.

"BECAUSE I SAID SO!"

"Fine. Lets go Henry," Megan said, and without a word, Megan, Henry, and Kally walked out of the room to find themselves falling. Falling through the sky.

"OK, what is this place? and, most importantly, why are we crash-landing? Hey, look! It's a time machine! We're traveling in time!" Blurted Megan.

They whisked through the air, and they landed in 1995, where they found themselves in the icicle palace, where they saw the lady.

She was holding a baby boy, when witches were chasing her! So she placed the baby boy in a carriage, and threw him inside another world. It was by time Henry realized who that boy is: him.

"Could we go back a bit more further?" Henry asked, "sure! I mean, I guess." replied Megan.

She whisked them through the air, and they arrived in 1983. Henry saw his mother: Mrs. Wilder, standing in front of a castle, when she got caught! and was put in jail. That's when, Ms. Valerie appeared and talked to her, gave her food, and became her friend. She was wearing a crown. Henry saw somebody, a man, beside her move, and he heard them talking about a boy named Henry that they'll name their first child. He heard them talk about a crown that the woman was wearing, and heard them talk about the crown as a gift to Henry. Then, they were talking about witches.

"How can we let Henry survive the witches, honey? Once he's born, we can't let him know."

"Oh, yes we can't! We'll have to let him figure it out by himself. He can't know who or where we are. We need to let him figure it out by himself. All by himself. It's called independently. That's it, independently."

"Let's go further back, when there were only boats, and when there are witches, and wizards." Henry suggested.

"There are no wizards, Henry." Kally told him.

SamanthaD:
Henry rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He said. They went back again, and they saw a crowd of witches sitting around a campfire. "Which one should we go after?" one asked. "The boy's the smartest," said one witch. "But the girl's the prettiest!" said another. "Doesn't matter!" said the one who seemed to be the leader. "I have a plan, and it will take a couple years to complete. But sooner or later, we will have both of them, drain them of their power, and then destroy them. Then WE will have their power! And the first thing we will do is TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Neither Henry nor Kally will have enough strength to stop us!" There was a lot of evil laughter. Completely stunned, Henry pressed the button that led them back to normal time, and followed the map to the castle's library, with Meagan and Kally behind him. At the library, Henry looked up Wilder in a book. Underneath the title, the page read:

Henry and Kally Wilder

Children of Lord and Lady Bartschi, taken from their home to live with Mr. and Mrs. Wilder. Henry can shoot sparks from his fingertips and Kally can turn invisible. Both can fly and have X-Ray vision.

"Bartschi? I thought that lady was called Chorie or something." Henry quietly observed.

"What?" Kally hollered, "here, read this, Henry and Megan."

Henry read the page Kally was pointing to:

Lord and Lady Barschi was wondering where Henry and Kally were. But, Their real names are not Henry and Kally. They are named Jackson and Jamie. Princess Jamie and Prince Jackson. Did you know that the owner of the Icicle Palace is Lady Barschi? and the owner of the Sunshine Palace is Lord Barschi? I heard that they saw their children! Freaky much?
Their Past Tense:
Lord and Lady Barschi threw their children into another dimension, when the witches wanted the crown from Lord Barschi and the crown from Lady Barschi. Can you bear even throwing you child? No! After that, then Lord Barschi needed to disguise himself, so he went into the human world, too. And as did Lady Barschi.

"Life is crazy, Henry," Megan said.

"Don't tell me that you have these weird super-powers too," Henry asked.

"Actually, I do. My mom and dad are the next in line for the throne, but to tell you the truth, I hate this place!"

"Why didn't you tell me about my past?" Henry asked again.

"I would rather keep it a secret." Megan answered, "I was afraid that you wouldn't like me anymore. I don't have a normal life, Henry. Who would like to hang out with a girl thats next in line for the throne? I'm considered nothing, I'm just a girl, that everyone thinks a freak, I didn't want you to think that. You know, it was fun hanging out with you because you didn't know what I really was."

"Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever"grumbled Henry looking as though Megan had just told him a very long boring story. But I still don't really understand these weird crazy information I got. Can't you just explain all these stuff to me? "Plus, we're running out of time and we still haven't found our parents!" hollered Henry.

" OK, OK chill out Henry!" cried Megan. " NO! I won't chill out until I know what's going on!" Henry yelled right into Megan's face. Why are these things happening to me? Why? why? why? Henry thought to himself angrily. " I'm sorry," Megan whispered. " But If I tell you....." Then she went silent.

HualinS:
"So, what if you told me? You're my friend. I thought that was what friends are for!" Henry went silent, too.

Megan turned pink, "but I thought you didn't want to be my friend! I thought you didn't want me to come with you in the first place! I thought. . ."

Henry was starting to become angry, "are you telling me, or not, Meggie?"

Kally laughed. Megan turned to her and frowned.

"Gee, since you don't need me, I guess I'll go! Sheesh! Who else can drive that dumby-dumb time machine? Meany!" Megan blurted out.

"ME! I mean. . . Kally! She can, right?" Henry asked Kally.

"Really? I could?" Kally was suspicious.

"Course you could!" Henry told her.

Just then, 'Meggie' ran away and Kally and Henry were left alone.

"Wow! I never knew I could!" Kally smiled at Henry. "Thanks!"

But Henry wasn't paying attention at all. He was looking at the footprints Megan left and was angry, and a bit sad. Now he was left alone, with Kally.

"Hey! did you know the Sunshine Palace has a Future Machine?" Kally realized she was smarter than she thinks.

"Really? Let's go check it out!" Henry shouted.

They went to Sunshine Palace, which is right beside the Icicle Place, and they saw the Future Machine. But someone is on it! He came down, and he looked exactly like Kally! Kally gulped, but Henry realized he got the exact crown as the Chorsie lady! Henry looked at Kally, Kally looked back. When, a snake-like dude appeared! He asked them, "are you new? You must past 3 tasks, to get to the end. Sign:________________________"

Suddenly Henry and Kally were teleported to a room full of art things, paint brushes, paint pallets and many more.

Then, Jogger Stuart, Guitar Guy Alex, Artist Yon Joo and the snake-like dude appeared.

"OK" commanded the snake-like dude. As I told you, you have to draw a perfect elephant in 15 minuets. Your companions will help you and you can use anything in this room. Ready? Henry and Kally nodded. Set. GO! Then, the snake-like dude disappeared.

"OK. Wait." yelled Henry. How will a Jogger and a Guitar Guy help me draw an elephant?

JunMinA:
"Well Alex could keep you from being bored and Stuart can run to get the colours you need," answered Kally as she looked at their new helpers. " You remember their names? They're not that important you know!" exclaimed Henry. The three helpers blushed. Henry blushed. Why did he say that? Everybody is important.

"I know!" Alex was acting like he just came up with microwave popcorn, "We can rock our way to it! Hold on a sec, let me get my guitar."

"Idiot!" Stuart exclaimed, "We can't rock our ways to drawing a perfect elephant.... or can we?"

Henry and Kally stood there in awe.

"What are you thinking?" Asked Yon Joo, "Hello? I'm an artist here!"

"So you like to rock out too? How many songs have you written?" Alex asked.

"Artist! An artist is a person who can draw things, not sing songs!" Alex was getting on her nerves.

"What good is a Guitar Guy?" Yon Joo asked.

"What good is a Jogger?" Alex blurted out.

"Well, what good is an artist?" Stuart ran to Yon Joo and tried to pull her hair.

"Ow!"

"Guys, I got it! Yon Joo, you draw a sketch of an elephant, then Stuart can make footsteps around it, then Alex can play a song, to make us chill, and last, Yon Joo, Kally, and me will edit it!" Henry thought out loud.

"But what good are footprints on a master piece?" blabbered out Yon Joo, "huh? and what good is a song? I chill from drawing!"

"Just do what I say, and everything'll work! I promise!" Henry yelled at Alex, and Yon Joo, because Yon Joo asked that question, and Alex wasn't paying attention since he was singing a song with his guitar.

They did that, and right at that time they finished, the snake-like dude appeared. "Good." He looked miserable.

"Say-" The snake-like dude started, but the companions were already gone.

"Second task, Measure an angle: Acute, Obtuse, or Right. Also write what kind of angle it is.. Then write the degree you got. Companions:
Lady Kathryn Martin, Idol Sophia, and Bird Breeder Aaron. Ready? Let's begin.

"This is going to be as easy as pie!" Kathryn twirled her hair as she said it.

"How do you know?" Aaron started to cry, "I miss my mom..... and my pet parrot!"

"Oh, would you just shut up?" Sophia told Aaron, "at least you don't have a talk show to go to in an hour, I don't even know what to say. Wheres my makeup artist?"

"Guys, guys.... we need to work this out. How are we gonna do this if we don't even have an angle to measure?" Henry asked.

Right then, Megan came around the corner.

"MEGAN!" Shouted Henry and Kally at the same time.

"I need to get you guys out of here!" Megan sounded worried.

"Well we can't get any were!" Kally was scared, "we don't have a angle to measure, so we can't get any were!"

"Oh no you don't!" Megan snapped her fingers, and a paper arrived in her hand."Here you go," Megan handed the paper to Henry. The paper had a angle on it in blue ink. "I think you'll need one of these," Megan again snapped, and a protractor arrived in her hand, she handed it to Kally.

"Megan, I'm sorry what I said about you, I mean-" Henry stopped speechless.

"Its okay. I'm sorry of what I said too." Megan put out her hand, "friends?"

Henry reached out and shook her hand, "friends."

Sophia smiled, "um. . . fine. I'll leave now, because I have a long way to get to the place. I think it'll be the best. See ya.:" She was about to walk away, when Henry seized her, and pulled her back.

"You're not going anywhere, young lady!" He scratched her neck.

"Hey! what'd you do that for?" she asked, "because you want me to stay here? What good is an idol? besides singing?"

Aaron started to cry, again. "You know what? My parrot, Parry must miss me! Being captured and everything, by a lady in black and red clothes! She is way too mean to live. Sob. Sob.

"I remember she said that she has a husband, and two kids. They're called Jackson and Jamsie, or something, wait!Jackson and Jamie!"

Henry and Kally gasped! When, the snake-like dude appeared! "I'm so sorry, it's been time. You didn't pass! Please go away." He spoke, in a clear voice.

Meanwhile........................................

In the Sunshine Palace, Lord and Lady Bartschi were getting bored.

"It has to be Jackson and Jamie! It has to be, right, I mean, huh?????" Lady Bartschi spoke.

"Maybe... But remember? We need to figure it out be ourselves, and so do they." Lord Bartschi reminded her.

Henry and Kally got out of the Sunshine Palace, and they saw Madam Chorsie, and the guy they saw in the future machine! Madam Chorsie turned pink, but the guy who was in the time machine seemed calm, when Kally ran to the guy from the Future Machine, and hugged him. Henry was surprised!

"I have not seen you two in so long!" The guy that they had seen in the time machine was know blushing, and the girl next to him was blushing more then ever now.

"No offence though, but who are you?" Asked Henry.

"Don't you know?" The man looked surprised.

"Wheres my parents?" Came a voice behind Henry and Kally.

"They are..... well.... what should I say..... taken care of!" The lady laughed.

"What did you do with them!" Kally and Henry turned around, and to their surprise, the voice was Megan's.

"Oh... maybe I put them in the dungeon," Answered they guy from the time machine.

"And my sisters?"

"I got rid of them too."

HualinS:
"How dare you!" Megan screamed in the Chorsiem lady's face. "You are so dead!"

Henry and Kally looked down, they saw Megan's tears.

""Even though I don't like Lindsey, and Bethany, doesn't mean I want them dead. You people are super, duper, quadruper mean! Meany-mean mean!" Megan stomped away.

Henry followed Megan, but the Chorsie lady stopped him.

"You need to come with us,, and help us fix the future. We were supposed to be dead by now, because of the witches, abut we managed to survive, before 2008. You need to come with us, and help us fix the past, that way, we can survive in the future and you"ll be able to, um, well... become king! Isn't that right, Jackson?" The Chorsie lady explained.

"First, you need to go on the Time Machine, then the Future machine. You must do this fast, sorry, I forgot, with Kally, before 2008, or else all the people in Abbyisvillle will die, and only witches will survive, trust me, you won't like that." The guy from the Future Machine told them.

"Come, please help us, and all of us will survive." The Chorsie lady begged.

When, Megan stomped back, and started to punch the Chorsie lady.

"Ow! Young lady, what the heck!?" She pulled herself backwards, and kicked Megan.

Megan screamed as loud as she could, when, they saw themselves arrive in a dark palace, full of broomsticks and witch picture, when they knew that Megan was a witch!

HualinSL:
Henry and Kally gasped! Lord Barstchi was pale, and lady Barstchi looks like she nearly fainted, or something.

"Chill, people. We all knew that one day this will happen, I mean. Most of us." Lord Barstchi spoke with fear in his mouth, Lady Bartchi started to cry. Henry was embarrased to see his mother cry.

Just then, two OTHER witches came, and they looked exactly like Megan!

"You see, Henry and Kally, I'm a evil witch. Abbyisville shall never become the good hand's side, everyone will become wvil, at the end.

JunMinA:
"Never!" Henry shouted to all the witches. Sparks either of Henry's anger or shame flew out of nowhere. The witches robes were on fire. They ran away from this terrible disaster. All except Megan who stayed and was calm. Lord Barstchi looked as though he had just seen something so unbelievable that he will be a millionaire with this treasure. "Nice job Henry!" said Kally, "Now you will kill us or send us to prison." She stopped and saw Henry collapse onto the hard ground.

SamanthaD:

Meagan snickered. "You know, I hate it when the prisoners escape. And we do have a lot of prisoners in this old castle. Fortunatley, you two aren't prisoners right now. Unfortunatley, now you are!" Meagan cackled at her own joke, then she murmured some strange words and everything turned black.

When it was light again, Kally found that she and Henry, still unconscious, were trapped inside a large metal cage in a large room. There was a red carpet leading from the door to a throne in the back of the room, which Megan sat upon, looking pleased. Suddenly Henry stretched and sat up. "What's going on?" he asked. "Scilence!" Megan roared. "You are now my prisoners and you must do as I say! And I say...." Megan thought for a moment. "You will be thrown to man-eating sharks. Good-bye!" Megan laughed evilly and walked out of the room.

The kids' cage was lifted by strong men and they were carried to a cave with a dirty river inside. Kally suddenly felt power rising inside of her and she remembered what the book had said. "Henry, grab my hand." she whispered. When the top of the cage was opened, Kally flew right out, with Henry holding onto her.

"Hey!" yelled the men! "They are escaping!" yelled one of the men. "Get them then you twits!" hollored Megan. Kally and Henry both turned invisible because Kally was holding Henry's hand. Henry started shooting sparks at the three men while the three mens were chasing them like dogs chasing cats. "AHHHHHH!" screamed the mens. "Quick! Lets take our chance to escape" whispered Kally to Henry, "now!"

"Not so fast." Henry and Kally found themselves looking at somebody who looked like Henry but had Kally's eyes. He drew out a hand which suddenly turned into a bazzooka. The boy hesitated for a moment but then got back his focus. "You shall pay!"

"Who are you?" whispered Kally. The man stepped out of the dark and Kally and Henry gasped.

SamanthaD:
"D..D..D..Daddy?" Kally whimpered. "No," the man snarled, "I am Kabar the magnificent, your father's evil twin. Your parents have been trying to protect you from me all these years. But I am no match for them! Ha Ha! Ah, Meagan. There you are."
"Hello, Uncle Kabar." Meagan replied. "UNCLE?" Henry and Kally both asked. "But of course." Meagan said. "Did you not think that I, of all people, would be related to the most powerfull sorceror in the world?" Kabar snapped his fingers, and everything turned black.

When the darkness cleared, Henry and Kally found themselves tied to two metal chairs, once again in the throne room.
In between them there was a strange machine with wires connected to their chairs. Kabar and Megan were at the control panel. "Say hello to the MagicFlexer." said Megan. "It'll drain you of your powers and transfer them to us. Then, WE will rule the world. Ha Ha Ha Ha!" "NEVER!" Kally screamed. "Let us go!" "Gaurds!" Kabar yelled. Two large men stepped forward and tied a thick gag over each ones' mouth. Kally was still kicking her chair and screaming as Kabar pushed a button, and the MagicFlexer started to glow.

WilsonL:
Well, I guess this is the end, thought Kally. Suddenly, Henry started shooting sparks at the rope that was tieing Kally and Henry to the metal chairs. The rope broke apart. Then Henry shot sparks at the rope that was tieing their mouths. That rope broke apart and Henry and Kally was free. Kally held on to Henry's hand and they both turned invisible. "Hey!" shouted Megan. "Where did they go?!" hollored Kabar.

JunMinA:
Suddenly Megan flew to the ground. Kabar was following her lead soon enough. Kally and Henry appeared behind then. "Let's go," Henry whispered. They were moving away when suddenly a voice whispered, "You aren't going anywhere. After all I, Wally, am your relative." Henry and Kaly turned to see Wally with one hand on fire. This was getting worse to worst.

SamanthaD:
"Okay, this is just getting weirder and weirder!" Kally said. "I'm getting tired of running away from all these people." Henry agreed. "Come on, let's just get outta here." So the two of them flew right up to the sky and out of the room and settled down on the roof. "That was easy." Kally said. "It seemed......TOO easy." "Let's go back to that library and take a look." Henry said.

When they arrived at the library, they looked up Wilder again in a different book, but found nothing. Then they looked up Bartschi, and found a few articles in the back of the book, but none of them were any help. Finally they looked up Powers in the book and found a page that read:

Controlling Powers

Do you have Magic Powers? Are they getting too easy for you? What's going on? If you are finding that you are beating bad guys left and right, it means that a few new powers are coming in. "Greats," sighed Jack, "more magic powers and stuff. This is just getting more and more crazier." "I wish this was a dream so that these things happening right now is acually a dream," mumbled Kally.

"As do I!" Megan appeared. "Hi. Where's Mallennie, do you know? Becuase if you do, then please tell me. Thanks." And she dissapeared. Henry looked at the footprints Megan left. It wrote Megan and Mellannie Sommerfelt's Powers in book da third. Henry searched for that book. He found it, opened it up to the first page, and read it to Kally:

Sir Sommerfelt and Madame Sommerfelt and their children, Megan, Ken, Finnigan, Jackson, Dialcoy, and Mellannie Sommerfelt.

Ken Jay Sommerfelt, Sir and Madame Sommerfelt's oldest child, has the power of Ghost. He may control ghosts and make dead people's ghost come out.

Next is Finnigan Mawsu Sommerfelt. He has the power of Rocks. He can control rocks and make them chase people. Beware.

Page 3 read:
After that is Dialcoy Quodry Sommerfelt. He controls water. He may make water rise maximum 500 feet and splash back down. He can make the weather rainy, and can control rain.

Page 4 read:
Then it's Mellannie Aroma Sommerfelt. She is the master of Psychic. She can make people do things that they don't want to do. She can make friends break up.

Page 5 read:
Later, there's Jackson Luke Sommerfelt. He is the master of Fire. He can make rain go away, make the weather sunny, and make forests burned or any where else burned. He is really powerful, so please beware.

Now, Sir Sommerfelt is in charge of Calmness. He may make people calm down during a fight. Madame Sommerfelt is in charge of Flying. She can fly as high as a bird. But beware, this madame is not easy to lose.

Henry and Kally gasped! When, the Sommerfelts appeared. Megan spoke, "so. It's you guys again. But this time your parents aren't here to protect you. You might as well just die." She laughed a unpleasent laugh.

"We won't surrender, we shall never ever surrender!" Kally screamed.

"You might as well do, Kally. I mean, no one can beat the Sommerfelts, we are invinsible. Just dream on." Mellannie yawned.

"Yeah sure," yawned Jack, "I bet we don't even have to raise a fist to kill you guys." Megan got really angry and yelled, "OH YEAH! LETS SEE ABOUT THAT!" Then the battle started.

The moment the battle started, Kally held on to Jack's hand and they both turned invisible. "Hey! Where the heck are they!" shouted the Sommerfelts. While Jack and Kally was still invisible, Jack started shooting sparks at Finnigan Mawsu Sommerfelt, Sir Sommerfelt, Madame Sommerfelt and Ken. They all got knocked out. "Well," whispered Kally to Jack, "that is three down. Nice job.""Yeah, thanks," replied Jack.

Just then, someone grabbed Henry's hand! He gasped; It was a strange looking lady. With a whisper of frighten, she grabbed Henry, who seized Kally, and the three of them dissapeared. Kally heard Megan's furocious voice calling, "where'd they go? Where'd they ever go?"

Kally looked down, then shrieked. Henry looked at where Kally was looking. Everything was strange! All the houses were so old-looking. The lady spoke, "I'm Korianne Loleski. I used to be your mother's best friend. I'm here to tell you the real truth. I'm sorry I took that long to find you. I was supposed to find you three days ago. Now, follow me." Henry thought that the lady's name is familiar. He remembered.

But to tell the truth, yes I did write a book about the Sommerfelts." whispered Korianne Loleski as she led them to a room.

"Please, just call me Sinthea. Sinthea Loleski. I will first bring you to your parents in 1672. Did I mention that witches can live forever? Your mom was a witch, and she lived up till now. However, your dad is a lord, not a boy witch, not magical. He abondoned her when he knew the true Lemmonnie. The true Lady Bartschi. Then, your grandparents were really upset to see their daughter cry for three weeks not ever opening her door, or even get fresh air. So they put a curse on your real dad, Daniel Cargrei. The curse is that once he turns thirty-three years old, a tulip will poke him, and he shall die. That year, you were born, Henry Jackson Wilder. Your mother took good care of you, and then, two years later, Kally Jamie Wilder was born. Then, exactly two weeks after the day Kally was born, Lord Cargrei turned thirty-three, and he died. Because that your mother was afraid that you guys will have no father, she put a spell on you so that you guys will remain the same age and the same look until she takes the spell back. Then, in 1888, she met Lord Bartschi, and they married. But because that it was such a long time, she forgot about the spell, and about you guys. Until in 1995, there were witches, and she never knew that you guys were there, until that day, protecting the Elder Crown. That crown is the most powerful crown in the whole universe. That day was her aniversery, and she was gonna get the Elder Crown, until she saw evil witches looking at the crown, while holding her children. She remembered. She took her children, handed one to her husband, (Kally) and hurried up with Henry while wearing the Elder Crown. She kissed Henry and Kally a last time, and threw them into another dimension. Known as Earth. And then, she went into Earth as well, and as did Lord Bartschi. Finally, for 14 years of searching, they FINALLY found you guys, but then the evil witches appeared again. And now they're in the Mysterious Dungeon. They can never get out unless you get the Azure Flute. That is in 1786, at the Mysterious Garden. Now it's your chance to change the future. I'll take you to that place, and you can save the future. After you find it, We'll go to 2007, and the Mysterious Garden will be named the Mysterious Dungeon. Blow the Azure Flute, and a ladder will appear. Climb that ladder, and you will get to your parents. Blow the Azure Flute again, and click fire. And you can go into the dungeon, and find your parents at the end of the maze. Save them, blow the Azure agiain, and you will arrive in your house, and the Azure Flute will dissapear into another time, another region. They are extremely rare, so if you even see one, you are soooooo lucky." Korianne took a deep breath, and drove the time machine to where it said, 1786. And stopped.

Kallya nd Jack zoomed fast into 1786. Why were we here again? They felt strange until they saw a boy about their age appearing out of nowhere."Wow! You are my older brother and sister. Jack and Kally. Where is Wally? Jack and Kally looked at him and asked, "Excuse me, but what are you talking about here?" The boy told then his name was Jun MIn and that he was the controller of grass and can absorb people's energy so they can't use their powers.

"Do you know where we can find the Azure Flute?" Kally asked. Jun min nodded and pointed to a hedge. Slowly the hedge dissolved and a pathway appeared. "Follow the signs," Jun Min said, "they will lead you to the Azure flute." What are the signs?" Kally asked. "You will know them when you see or hear them." "See or hear them?" Henry asked. He turned to look at Jun Min, but the boy had vanished. "C'mon." Kally said. So they stepped through the portal into the Mysterious garden. Almost immediatley they heard a long, mournful call. "RUN!" Kally screamed. "No, wait." said Henry. He listened for a moment. "That's just a loon. There must be a pond nearby." Then he stood up straighter. "The sign! the loon is the first sign! C'mon Kally!" And they rushed off in the direction of the call.

Moments later they reached the pond in which a loon was swimming. She pointed her bill to another path. The children ran down the path until they reached a three-way fork. "Now which way?" Henry asked. Kally bent down and looked at the stones. She noticed that one on the far left path was loose, and, walking over, she lifted it. Underneath was a strange sort of curlicue drawn with charcoal. "This way!" She said. As they continued down the path, they found maore signs, which were a woodpecker's pecking, the same strange sign cut into a hedge, the gurgling of a bullfrog, a fallen tree, the howl of a dog and finally, a butterfly which led them to the center of the maze. Lying on a green bush there sat the Azure flute, a thin stick of bamboo with green markings all over it. "Here goes." said Kally, and, picking up the flute, she blew the single note.

Instantly, Henry and Kally appeared in a castle. Kally blew a note again, and came to a 5-way door. She looked at the doors: One had Grass written on it, one had Water written on it, one had Ghost written on it, one had Dark written on it, and the last one had Fire written on it. Kally pulled Henry through the Fire door. She blew the Azure Flute again, and there they were, Lord and Lady Bartschi. Henry and Kally grabbed them, and Kally blew the last note on the flute, and they were back at the Wilder's house, safe and sound. But, Megan and her family appeared. "Very amusing, Congrei. Very amusing. Hand over the Elder Crown." Megan spattered. "Never! In your dreams!" Lady Bartschi shouted. "Well, in case you didn't know, your sisters, Hemmari and Sinthea, gave us the Elder Ring and the Elder Wand. You might as well give it, too! You can't hide from us forever, Lemmonnie!" Dialcoy laughed an evil laugh. Just then, Henry and Kally looked at each other, and shouted together, facing the fences, "Korianne Loleski! We need help!" POOF! Korianne appeared. "Hold on, kids, let me call some other helpers to help us! Rise, Hemmari! Maile! Dianne! Katlin! Allison! and, spirit to the Queen, Queen Fyora!" Right that moment, Lord and Lady Bartschi fell to their knees, and the Sommerfelts gasped! A woman, wearing a crown, ring, and wand, appeared. Everybody else, besides the Sommerfelts, fell to their knees, too. "Mother! Help us! The Sommerfelts are trying to take my Elder Crown, and they already took Mari and Thea's ring and wand!" Lady Bartschi pleaded. "Oh, really? I see, Sommerfelts, you guys are real strong, taking both my daughters' precious jewels, and now trying to take my youngest daughter's? Impressieve. But see if you can get your hands on the Lunar Crown, Lunar Ring, and Lunar Wand. Permanantly, impossible, right? And now I'll teach you haw powerful they are!" Queen Fyora gained all of her powers, and, "Combine! And, HIT!" The Sommerfelts fainted, all of them EXCEPT Megan. "You eager for more, Meg? Your parents are so weak, huh? I never knew that they'll have a child like you, Meg. Interesting. Surprising. Unkempting. But one vs. one is fair. So I guess I'll play a little while longer with you, Meg. But for your information, I'm gonna win." Queen Fyora pointed her wand straight at Megan. Megan rose into the air, and shouted, "NEVER! I'LL NEVER GIVE UP! I'M REPRESENTING ALL OF THE, YET, THE OTHER EVIL WITCHES! I CANNOT MAKE THEM TOO UPSET. OR ELSE KING GEORGE WON'T BE HAPPY!" Queen Fyora froze. Henry asked Korianne what happened. "King George is my dad, known as your grandfather. He was against her when she said that your mother and stepfather should've went to Earth a long time ago. But he disagreed. So that's how he started to learn about evil moves, potions etc. Now they are more of enemies then a family." she explained. BANG! Queen Fyora got hit by a man, with a crown, wand and ring, too. All the evil witches fell to their knees. "King George!"

King George was about to strike again, when, "YOU DO NOT DARE TOUCH A SINGLE HAIR OF MY GRANDMA'S, STRANGER! NOT TO MENSION MY MOM'S, EITHER!" Jun Min was following Henry and Kally the whole time. He ansorbed a little bit of King George's powers. "Jun Min! Honey! I thought you died? Is it really you? Are you really alive? If yes, then where are you?" Allison blabbered, with tears in her eyes. "Yes. It's the real me, mom. I was at the Mysterious Garden in 1786, hoping that someone would come. Finally, I was released!" Jun Min hesitated.

King George pointed his wand straight at Jun Min's heart. Jun Min gasped. King George gasped. A blind of light appeared. Then, a watery cloud appeared. Standing on it was a woman with a wand, ring and crown as well as a shiny necklace. The necklace started to glow. She spoke in a soft voice, "What seems to be the problem, Fyora? And George? Because I don't want to see you guys fighting in front of a house made by non-magical house while they are eating spaghetti or something, while watching you guys. What's wrong, Fyora and George?" That lady shook her head. "Her group is attacking my group. And I'm not OK with that!" King George blabbered. "You know what? I think you should just-" "Who are you?" Kally asked. "I'm the queen of the universe of magical creatures. Known as Queen Fantina. I am your mother's grandmother. So you should show a lot more resoect to me, little kid. Or should I say, Kally." Fantina answered.

"Ok. Wait. I still don't get all this." piped up Henry. "So you are my mothers' grandmother and... this is all getting soo confusing."

Jun Min pushed Henry and Kally as 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 volts of electricity shot out at the three from a guy, Henry and Kally saw it from his nametag, Wilson. Jun Min sucked out all his energy but was shot by a dark shadow ball from Megan. The war started. It finally did.

Jun Min started to fight Wilson, when, "I'll help! Go, Rapidash! Flamethrower attack!" A strange-looking pony appeared, and blew Wilson away.

"The name's Linda. You guys are now in the pokemon world, and please pick a starting pokemon: Squirtle, Charmander, or Bulbasaur. This is Rapidash." She pointed to the pony, it soared in the air, and jumped back down. "I am Linda, I think I told you that, and I'm the 7th Gym Leader of Kanto. Blaine, the old Gym Leader, retired, so, as his granddaughter, I am the new Gym Leader, in charge of Fire pokemon." Megan ran to Linda. "I'll see if my Dark-type pokemon can lose to your stupid Fire-types. Go, Mightyena!" Linda yawned. "In this case, then, Ninetales! I choose you!" A beautiful fox appeared, with nine tales attached to it. "Ninetales, Fire Spin! And then, Overheat!" Ninetales did as it was told. Mightyena fainted. Megan shrieked! "Powerful, Linda. But you will not, you will never, beat me again. Goodbye for now." Megan and her family dissapeared. "Follow me to Professor Oak." Linda lead them to a small cottage, opened the door, and, "Professor Oak! We have new visitors! Shall I take them to the new pokemons?" "OK!" A grouchy voice called. "Here are the three pokemon. Please pick one." Linda winked at Henry, Kally, and Jun Min. "I'll take this guy." Henry spoke, pointing at Squirtle. Linda handed it to Henry. "I guess I want you." Kally pointed at Bulbasaur. Linda handed it to Kally. "Then I'll take the last one." Jun Min held Charmander, and made faces with it, to have fun. "Don't do that! It doesn't know you-" Linda began. RARRRRRRRRR! Charmander burned Jun Min. "Okay. I'll remember that." Jun Min shrieked. "What's you starting pokemon, Linda?" asked Henry. "Mine? Oh! I came from another region, the Hoenn region. I picked Torchic as my starting pokemon, a nd now I have a Blaziken, level 100. And if you ever battle at the 7th gym, the last pokemon I'm gonna send out is, of course, Blaziken. My strongest, and most lovable pokemon. Here's the order I USUALLY send them out in: First, Ninetales, second, Flareon, third, Rapidash, fourth, Arcanine, fifth, Magmortar, a really powerful pokemon, and most people think it's my most powerful pokemon, until they saw my last pokemon, Blaziken. So you should save your best pokemon until the end. I highly suggest you use Water-types, Flying types, Rock types, or Ground types. Oh! And here's your pokedex, to keep track of the pokemons you have seen, or have caught. I'll be seeing you, then! Oh! and one last thing, here's a region map. BYE!" She dissapeared. "Cool!" Kally held Bulbasaur. "Let's go, go, go!"

Kally wanted to trade Bulbasaur so she traded with Jun Min and that was done with. Kally and Charmander were fast friends but Jun Min had a fight witht Bulbasaur on who is the better grass controller.

Now, Bulbasaur hates both Kally and Jun Min. He ran up to Henry, and Henry adopted him. Jun Min's now sad. He has no pokemon. Suddenly Henry gave balbasuar a talk and Jun mIn got his bulbasaur back! They were the best of the best friends.

Months passed, and now they're on their way to Cinnabar Gym, to defeat Linda once and for all, and to get the Volcano Badge. They battled a lot of trainers, but managed to get to Linda. Henry used a Full Restore on his Blastoise, and Donphan. He knocked on the door, and he started to talk to Linda.
"Henry! What a surprise! I've been waiting for you for five months, Henry, FIVE MONTHS! Let the battle begin."
"Ninetales, I choose you!"
"Let me get this Ninetales on my pokedex. PERFECT! Go, Donphan!"
"Ninetales, Returrn attack!"
"Donphan, dodge-"
But Donphan was too late.
"Come back, Donphan! Go, Gyarados!"
"Well done, Ninetales, go, Arcanine!"
"What is that? Arcanine. A fire-dog pokemon. It is the evolved form of Growlithe. It has a fast speed cell in it's body. Beware of it ExtrmeSpeed attack. That attck goes first, as always.

In this case, then, Gyarados, Confusion Attack!"
"Arcanine, ExtremeSpeed!"
Gyarados fainted.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Go, Espeon!"
"Arcanine, you rock! Go, Flareon!"
"This is, Flareon!? WOW! Espeon, Psychic!"
"Flareon, Overheat!"
PON! Espeon fainted.
"Go, I'm counting on you now, BLASTOISE!"
"OK! Return Flareon, job well done, go, Rapidash!"
"Let's get this pokemon on my Pokedex. Then, Blastoise, Hydro Blast!"
"Rapidash! NO! Are you OK, honey?"
But Rapidash fainted.
"Sheesh. Return, honeydew. Go, MAGMORTAR!"
"Magmortar!? So that's a Magmortar. Magmortar, evolved form of Magmar with a Magmorizer. It can blow fire over 30 feet.

Blastoise, Hydro Pump!"
"Magmortar, Fire Blast!"
"Blastoise, Surf!"
"Magmortar, Mirron Mo- NO! Magmortar, are you OK? Can you still battle?"
But Magmortar fainted.
"Fine. Return, darling. LAST, BLAZIKEN!"
"Uh-Oh. Blastoise, Hydro Cannon!"
"Blaziken, Sky Uppercut!"
"Oh no! Blastoise, use Surf!"
"Blaziken, use Blast Burn!"
"Full Restore, go! Use on Blastoise!"
"Whatever. Blaziken, use the move we've been working on for years, Grass Knot!"
"What? No! Blastoise! NO!"
Blastoise fainted.
"You see, Henry, you still can't beat me. Blaziken, you are da best pokemon ever! Return. Until next time, see ya."
Henry blinked. Henry, Kally, and Jun Min was in fron of the Gym again, but the Gym door was locked.
"SHE IS SUCH A WITCH!" Henry turned around, about to cry. "I not only lost a gym battle, but now my pokemon will hate me. SHAME ON ME! SHAME ON ME!"
"Henry, look! What's that?" Kally pointed to a pokemon near her.
"Let's see, Suicune, a legendary pokemon. It has the ability to learn Water Spout, a extremely powerful attack. IF you chose Charmander as you starting pokemon, then you must use you Charmander, or Charmeleon or Charizard, against it. If you lose, and you Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard faints, then you con not ever capture it again. If you win, and it faints, It's yours.

WOW! OK! Kally, please catch that pokemon, and let me burrow it. I NEED THAT VOLCANO BADGE!" Henry kneeled down in front of Kally. "Fine. Go, Charizard!"
Suicune turned around. It used Water Spout.
"Charizard, avoid it, then use Sky Attack!"
Henry gasped! Sky Attack was the most powerful Flying-Type move!
"Charizard, give it a Blast Burn!"
It only did 30 HP damage, but the wild Suicune was burned.
The wild Suicune used Hydro Pump. Charizard has one more HP.
"Enough, Charizard. Go, MASTERBALL!"
Jun Min and Henry gasped. You can only get one Master Ball in your whole journey! Kally must have saved it for a long time. BINGO! Suicune was caught!
"YAY! THANKS, KALLY! Volcano Badge, here I come!"
. . . . . .
"OK! Blaziken, I choose you!" Linda sent out her strongest pokemon.
"As I thought. Return, Blastoise. GO SUICUNE!"
"Suicune? YOU caught a Suicune!?"
"Yes. Suicune, Water Spout!" But Suicune disobeyed orders.
"Good. You need a lot more training with that Suicune you got there. Never mind. Grass Knot, Blaziken! GRASS KNOT!"
Suicune fainted.
"NO!" Henry blinked, and they were in front of the Gym door, with the Gym locked, again.
THREE WEEKS LATER,
"Again, Henry? We'll make this a one-on-one battle. You probably guessed I'll choose Blaziken. GO!"
"In this case, go, Blastoise!"
"Again? No matter how hard you try, Henry, you will not stand a chance against me if you use your Blastoise."
"Blastoise, Hydro Cannon, Hydro Pump, Hydro Blast, and Hydro Maniac, TOGETHER! COMBINE! AND, HIT!"
BANG! Blaziken fainted.
"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?"
"I WIN!"
"Yes, you win. THIS TIME. But you don't stand a chance against the Elite Four, and one of them is my mother. You don't stand a chance against the Battle Tower leader. One of them is my father. And you will never, you will not ever, stand a chance to win against my sister, the person you'll face before you get all your badges for the Battle Tower, and if you ever see her, deliver this to her for me, please. Her name's Mellany. Thanks, again. I guess not everyone can lose to my Blaziken. Thank you, Henry. And keep in mind that my family is a Fire-type family. So there you go, you know what type one of the Elite Fours' are. Plus, she's the last Elite Four. So beware of her strongest pokemon, Moltres. A legendary bird. Becareful. I think you deserved to win this badge, and this TM, too. It contains Overheat. It is ment for only, and only, fire type pokemon. Such as Ninetales, or Arcanine. It is a really powerful attack. Until next time, see ya."
And once again, the Gym Door closed, and POOF! The three friendswere in the front gate of Cinnabar Island.

JunMin was heading for the Elite four with all his eight badges and a pokeball on fire that he didn't seem to mind at all. While he was walking he saw two flying pokemons and both Henry and Kally on them. He took our his Aerodactyl and flew to Henry and Kally.

"Go, MasterBall!" Henry threw a MasterBall at Lugia.
"Go, MasterBall!" Jun Min threw a MasterBall at Ho-Oh.
BINGO! The two pokemon was caught.
First Elite Four; Sydney. Bingo! His last pokemon fainted.
Second Elte Four; Phoebe. Yay! Her last pokemon fainted.
Third Elite Four; Glacia. Yes! Her last pokemon fainted.
Last Elite Four; Ellen. Hooray! Now to the League Champion!
Jun Min wondered who the League Champion is. When, the door to the Champion opened. In there, stood Linda! She is the champion!
"Linda?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! How can it be YOU?" Jun Min gulped.
"Because, after the day you beated me, I started training different kinds of pokemon. Now, I just beated the old champion yesterday, because I know how to get out of the Victory Road. No I have a lot more pokemon. And you're lucky, my Blaziken isn't one of the pokemons I'm going to use anymore. So. D'you wanna battle or not, Jun Min?"
"OK. Henry, why don't you go first. Or maybe Kally!"
Henry and Kally shook their head.
"Fine. I'm gonna challenge you!"
"Perfect. First of all, I'm gonna send out, Rapidash!"
"Okay. Go, Ho-Oh!"
"Ho-Oh! You caught a Ho-Oh? Whatever. Rapidash, Overheat!"
"Ho-Oh, duck it, and use Waterfall!"
"No! Rapidash! No! Rapidash, return. Next, I'll use, go, Altaria!"
"Altaria! Altaria. The humming pokemon. It is the evolved form of Swablu. It is a Dragon and Flying type. If you have a Ice type, then it will be really easy against it. Ice type, huh? Well, go, Glalie!"

"Glalie, Sheer Cold!"
"NO! Altaria, return. Go, Electrivire!"
"Electrivire? Electrivire. The evolved form of Electabuzz with a Electrizer. It can learn Volt Tackle. It can avoid attacks and restore it's own HP. OK. Go, Donphan!"
"Electrivire, Brine!"
"Donphan, avoid it, then use Earth Power!"
"No! Electrivire! NO! Come back. Go, Togekiss!"
"Togekiss! It's the evolved form of Togetic! WOW! Go, Pikachu!"

PANG! Venusaur fainted.
"Until next time. See ya."

Suddenly they saw WilsonL running towards them. "Hey! You guys were all mistaken! I'm actually innocent! And guess what? I have all these super rare pokemon and they are all above level 100!" exclained WilsonL.

"Ya he was innocent but he was also hypnotized. Show me your pokemon." JunMin said. Wilson took out a vulpix ,level 5, a gastly level 8 a gyarados lvl1, that is pretty rare though. Finally an egg that will come out to togetic. "Oh and this match isn't over. My last and final pokemon! Come out Deoxys!" Everybody gasped. "Deoxys use Psycho boost!" Milotic fainted. Linda also fainted because of the 140 attack power it unleashed everybody fell except JunMin and Deoxys. "Actually this is only one of my teams. I also have a team who has a Gyarados, a Poliwrath, a Venasuar, a pikachu, a Snorlax, a Aerodactyl, and a Palkia."
JunMin walked away. Kally talked to Wilson, "Did somebody trade you those pokemon?" Wilson nodded. Does wilson know a lot about pokemon?

"Your soo mean Jun MinA," shouted WilsonL, "you didn't let me show you my best pokemons! I have a lv. 100 Gyarados, lv.100 Venesuar, lv.100 Charzard, lv.100 Blastoise, lv.100 Deoxys and a lot more that is also lv. 100! I even caught Mew!" I'm gonna use Mew. We're aloud two legendaries. Who're you gonna send out?" Wilson asked Linda. "Rise to the world, MEWTHREEX!" Linda smiled. "MewthreeX? That's a ultimate Legendary, huh? Whatever. Mew, use Crunch!"
"MewthreeX, avoid it, and use Shadow Punch!"
"Mew! Avoid it!"
"MewthreeX, Ice Punch! Thunderpunch! Fire Punch! Shadow Punch! on North, West, South, and East areas!"
Mew had no where to run. It fainted.
"One off. Next up, Go, Deoxys!"
"MewthreeX, return. You did a good job. Next up, go, Mewtwo! Mewtwo! Show off your speed! Use ExtreemeSpeed!" Linda commanded.
"Deoxys! You all right? Use Psycho Boost!"
Mewtwo's HP barely came down.
"My Mewtwo has 10,000 HP. So haha on you! Mewtwo, use Dark Void!"
Deoxys fainted because Dark Void takes out exactly 300 HP. But the user has to cut 300 HP, too. Since Mewtwo has 10,000 HP, it didn't faint.
"Here are every single legendary I have: MewthreeX, Mewtwo, Giratina, Celebi, Jirachi, Darkrai, Manaphy, Regigigas, Regiice, Mesprite, Uxie, Cresselia, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Shaymin, Latios, Latias, Arceus, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Suicune, and Dialga. Just a shame I didn't catch Palkia. But I have nearly every single legendary. I saw a kid running with a Suicune, but that Suicune then ran off. So I caught it with a GS Ball, the best ball in the whole world. And I still have 900,000 GS Balls left."
"And that Suicune you caught was mine!" Kally groaned.
"It was yours? Sorry. But now it's mine. Sorry, again."

Jun Min, Henry, and Kally got six badges already, and are on their way to the last place you should battle: The Battle Pyramid. They walked in the Pyramid. They saw the leader, James, and Linda. She was about to battle him.
"OH! Hello, Jun Min. You came to battle dad, too? Cool. First of all, see me battle dad. Then I'll watch you battle dad. Dad, can we each use one pokemon?" Linda asked.
"Sure. I choose, go, Regirock!"
"OK. Go, Celebi! Celebi! Use Frenzy Plant!"
"Regirock, use Protect! Then use Flamethrower!"
"Flamethrower? Celebi! Show off real fire. Use Overheat!"
Overheat went through Flamethrower.
"It's not really affective! Regirock, use Power Gem!"
"Celebi! Avoid it! Give it a last Leaf Storm!"
Regirock fainted.
"Wow, Linda, WOW! My own daughter beating me. WOW. Amazing. Here you go. Your last Battle Badge. The Brave Badge. Go and battle the Elite Four, and your sister. The champion. I'm so proud of you. Linda. Your sister lost to me the first, second and third time. But it is your first time and you won me. I think you can do a better job then your sister, Linda."
"I know. Mom and Dad always loved me more than my sister." Linda replied.

Jun Min beated the last Elite Four, and went into the champion room. There, stood Linda. The champion.

"Hola Jun Min! I'm the new champion. In the Battle world, we are aloud to use legendaries. We'll have a Double Battle. Send your pokemon out."
"OK. Go! Palkia! Entei!"
"Go, Dialga! Jirachi! Dialga, Roar of Time! Jirachi! Hydro Pump!" Jun Min's pokemons fainted. Linda won, again.

Wilson came in. "I have all the legendaries and they are all lv.100 you know. I also have all the badges except the champion one. And not just that but all my pokemons are lv.100." said Wilson. Jun Min thought Wilson was weak so he battled him. In the end, Jun Min lost of course. Then Wilson had a double battle with Kally and Kally lost too. "Wow, you're so strong." exclaimed Jun Min and Kally. Lastly Henry came and also, he was beaten in a double battle.

"Just as I thought! Giratina! Protect Rayquaza and yourself! Use Protect!"

Giratina vanished instantly. Rayquaza flew up to the sky.
"No! Isn't there a way to beat her- THAT'S IT! Registeel, stand beside Mew! Mew use Thunder at yourself and Registeel!"

"Wilson! Wait! Even though you lost, I still think you are a amazing trainer. I think you can take care of this egg. I breeded it with my Manaphy. It will hatch out a legendary. I've had this egg for a long time. I didn't know who to give it to. When I saw you battle against me, I knew you put in the best effort. I think you can take care of this egg. I'm sure the pokemon'll like you. Please, take good care of it. It might help you in Johto Region. Where I was from. I'm the champion there. So we'll get to battle again, Wilson. Someday. Sometime." She vanished. Wilson was still holding the egg. He knew what was going to hatch: Phione. He dreamed of one. "YES! I'm gonna get my fifth legendary!" Wilson giggled.

Wilson decided to travel with Jun Min, Kally and Henry. They arrived in front of Linda, the champion. "You guys beated the Elite Four? No? Well, I guess I'd like to see how you grew."
Linda won all four. AGAIN!

"Fine. First Gym Badge, Here we come!" Kally shouted!

Wilson, Kally, Henry and Jun Min were on their way to the champion. Wilson picked Totodile as his starting pokemon, Kally picked Chikorita, Henry picked Cyndaquil, and Jun Min picked Pichu. I wonder who will win?

"This time you guys must tag battle with someone. It's gonna be a double battle, and NO legendaries aloud." Linda explained.
"OK. Jun Min, I'll tag battle with you. Henry, you can tag battle with Kally, that all right?" Wilson asked. Henry and Kally nodded.
"Okay. Begin."
"Go, Typhlosion!" Jun Min sent out.
"Raichu, come on!" Wilson sent out.
"Oh! I'll use my pokemon: Milotic! Espeon! Stage on!" Linda smiled.
"Typhlosion! Flamethrower!"
"Raichu, Thunderbolt!"
"Milotic, Hydro Pump!"
"Espeon, Psychic!"
"Dang it! Thunderbolt coulda killed Milotic! Typhlosion, Dig!"
"Raichu use Dig, too!"
"That won't stop us. Espeon, Earthquake! Great! Now Milotic, Use Surf! Espeon stand behind Milotic!"
Raichu and Typhlosion fainted.

How are you invinsible? Everybody thought. Wilson's pokemon was also hit by LInda's 6th pokemon. His fainted. Jun min was still with his last pokemon, his Meotwo. Everybody suddenly were looking at Henry, everybody except for Jun Min. "Jun min's pokemon Mewtwo, Gyarados, Venasaur, Snorlax, Pikachu, , Araerodactyl,, and Poliwrath. They all seem to be like the champion pokemon master, Red!" They all stared at jun Min. He didn't seem like the pokemon master, but he did have a big similarity. They never knew his last name. "How about if he is realted to Red?" Linda asked behind Jun Min.Jun Min slashed with his feet at the back and the invisible Linda appeared out of nowhere.

"Meowth, that's the name!" A pokemon called Meowth added.

Jessie and James looked terrified. "Why are you so mad?"

"Because! Milotic! Hydro Pump! Ninetales! Overheat! Blissey! Hyper Beam! Meganium! Solarbeam! Pachirisu, Thunder! Mewtwo! Psycho Boost! ATTACK!"
"We'll help, too." Henry, Jun Min, Kally and Wilson offered.
"Same." Ash and his friends offered.

Let's have a battle, Linda. Hey! Winona and I can tag battle, you know, Winona the Gym Leader, you know, the cute girl and also a league leader? OK?"
Linda nodded. "OK!"

"Go, Altaria!" "Luvdisc, come."
"Pachirisu, Milotic. Stage on."
"Altaria, Sky Attack!"
"Pachirisu, Thunder. Milotic use Ice Beam at the Sky Attack."
"Luvdisc, Surf."
"Pachirisu, Thunder again. Milotic use real Surf."
Milotic's Surf went straight past Luvdisc's. Pachirisu's Thunder shocked the two pokemon.
"Now, give it a last, Pachirisu, Iron Tail! Milotic use Iron Tail, too!"
"Altaria! Fire Blast!"
"Urg. Now, Pachirisu, Volt Tackle! Milotic, Hydro Blast!"
Altaria, Luvdisc fainted. Linda won, AGAIN! SHE IS UNDEAFEATABLE!
"My turn!" Ash beamed.
"Go, Pikachu!"
"Go, Blissey."
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

Bam! Blissey was flung into the air and landed fainted. "I fyou want to see the real champion you can. I don't think you are ready. YOu can only see red if you are with his grandson. Even I don't know who his grandson is. Evverybody you should actually see that it is him." He pointed to jun Min.. "He looks like Red and he has a similarity to Red's pokemon,. Linda, you were defeated by me. You don't know the true outer space power." Ash flew with hisSpwallow.

Ash and Swellow was flown back here. Suddenly, Linda thought Ash looked familiar. She looked at Pikachu. Pikachu looked a lot like a different pokemon: Meowth. She held her pokedex.

Ash was in the league with my grandfather. He was supposed to be." Jun Min furiouslystabbed a bow at meowth. "That is also why Ash was weaker than I thought."

"Aaaaaaaaah!" Linda screamed.
"Vulpix! Fire Spin!" A lady shouted at her beautiful Vulpix.
"That voice- mom!" Linda shouted with a please voice.

"You don't dare touch a single hair of my daughter, Norman! You wicked creature! Tell me! What have you done to my son?" Linda's mom asked.
"Oh, Kenny? I threw him away." The man, Giovanni, turned around.
"Hey! You're not dad!" Linda shrieked.
"Giovanni! It's you! Where is Norman?"
"I don't know. Though I injured his most best pokemon, Dragonite, but I sure killed his Slaking. I dunno about the other one, Salamence. I think it flew away. Enough about that, Go, Clefable! Wigglytuff, Ice Punch! Clefable, Thunderpunch!"

Nobody knew what was the whole story until they asked Linda. "Well one day my mom and dad were somehow lost. I went searching for them and then.."

"I felt so sleepy that I couldn't even open my eyes in Eterna Forest, and when I opened my eyes again, I was in a beautiful house, and a lady was standing right in front of me. She had a beautiful smile on, and when I asked her who she was, she relpied as,
'Lorelei. Gym Leader Lorelei.'
So I told her how team rocket boss, Giovanni, stole my dad's Mewtwo, and he went searching for it. He didn't come home for three days. My mom got so worried that she went to find him. Our babysitter, Jilina, replied as a,
'Your parents will be OK. Trust them.'
But I still didn't really. I went into the forest alone, Eterna Forest, and I found my mother, then, she ran to the lake and dissapeared. I looked in the lake. A head popped out. A leagendary pokemon, Mesprit, appeared. I looked at the lake, it was called, Lake Verity. I traveled all the way to Twinleaf Town. From Herthome to Twinleaf. Then, I saw my mother again. She was talking to a pokemon, Vulpix. I looked back at Mesprit. It dissapeared. I gulped for breath. I can barely move. Suddenly, I felt pushed by a pokemon, but I can barely lift my eyelids. I closed them, slept for a while, and found myself in Eterna Forest again. I opened my eyes. I was next to a weak pokemon, Feebas. I looked at it. It pushed me all the way from Lake Verity to Eterna Forest. It was out of strength. I spent two days taking care of it, and the next time it opened its eyes, it evolved. Out came a beautiful Milotic. Milotic and I traveled to find the righ path to Herthome. I found a poke ball, and caught Milotic. Then, I fainted. I didn't get any food for two days. So then, Lorelei found me, and then I lived with her husband and her for about five years. Until one day, they found my parents. My parents thanked Lorelei so much that my dad gave his Elite Four spot to her. He then became a Gym Leader. Well, I guess that's all I can tell!" Linda finished off her story.

Kally was interested for more, but Henry, Jun Min, and Wilson were so bored. "Done yet?" Henry asked, the fifth time.
"Yes! For pete sakes, YES!" Kally exclaimed.
"How did you like our family story?" Norman, Linda's dad, asked.
"But why didn't you talk about me?" Kenny nagged.
"Because I hate you!" Linda frowned at him.
Kenny sticked his tongue out.
"Stop, you two! Are you sister and brother or not?" Susie, Linda's mother, asked.
"NO!" Linda and Kenny ignored her.
"Linda!"
"Kenny!"
Linda and Kenny sticked their tongue out to each other.
"Now that shows excellent brother and sister relationship between those two!" Jun Min added. Everyone laughed. Even Linda, not Kenny.

Linda looked around. A lady was watching her tell her story the whole time! She came out of the bush she was in, Linda realized her.
Jilina's daughter, Jasmine.
"Jasmine!" Linda shrieked surprisingly.
"Linda. It's so good to see you!"
"How's Jilina? Your mother?"
Jasmine's smile dissapeared.
"She died. She loved her Starmie so much that she sacrifised herself. Her Starmie had a bad flue, and it's gonna die. So she went to the pokemon center, traded her heart for Starmie's and died." Jasmine started crying.
"Don't worry, Jasmine, you can help me!"
"No, it's OK. With my ghost type pokemon, and mother's Starmie, I'm going to win the contest for pokemon for sure!" Jasmine wiped her tears.
"Well, I wish you very, very much luck!" Linda smiled.
Jasmine went.
Jasmine when she was only five.
"I still remember the time Jasmine and I went into Eterna Forest and got lost. She was scared, but Milotic managed to help us. That's where she met her first pokemon: Misdreavus. She captured it. She now evolved it into Mismagius."
Linda at age eight with her Eevee, now and Espeon.
"Jasmine helped me get my Eevee. A Eevee was lost, and I found her. I took care of her, and Jasmine decided we are an excellent team. She said that we were ment to be together. Jasmine. Such a nice girl."

Roxanne is more beautiful than Jasmine.
"What a beautiful lady!" Brock exclaimed.
"Oh, you think she's pretty?" Jasmine came back. "Wait 'till you see my other sisters.
" My biggest sister, Flannery."
My second biggest sis, Solana."
"So, Roxanne is my smallest sista. I like Solana the best, I must admit. Our whole family are Gym Leaders. Oh! In case you're wondering, Solana is my real sister, Roxanne is my sister but is adopted, and Flannery is really my cousin, but her parents died a long time ago, so we took care of her." Jasmine explained. "I, personally, like Solana the best. I think I told you that before, though. Ya, I did."

"Solana was such a nice person when she was small. She cared about me, and took good care of me when I was small, but now, she is really mean to me.
Her's Solana. Age 15. So nice. Now, she's age 27. Really mean."

"This is Paul. My brother. I have three brothers. He is the smallest of them. Paul."

"Next, there's Harrison. I hate him. His pokemon, Machamp, ALWAYS beats me. I never stand a chance with that Machamp."

"Oh, really? Can I have a battle with that Machamp?" Linda asked.
"But he's a Elite Four, Linda! You won't stand a chance!"
"Well, I'm the champion of Sinnoh. So I might stand a chance."
"Fine. HARRISON! C'MERE!"
"Shutup, Jasmine! I need my own privacy!"
"But Linda wants to battle you!"
"Who? Sophina?"
"No, Linda!"
"Tell her I'm busy today!"
"NO WAY! I'm not telling her that!"
"Well, you MUST!"
"Who said I must?"

"But..."
"I MUST battle with you, Harrison. I MUST." Linda interrupted.
"Er. Fine. Let's have a bet! If you lose, then you have to give me $4,000. But if you win, then I will give you $4,000. Deal?"

Harrison came down. "Finish her off, Machamp!"
"Go, Espeon."
"Machamp, Dynamic Punch!"
"Espeon. Psychic. Now, PSYCHO BOOST!"

"Pretty powerful, huh? Not powerful enough. Espeon, Thunder!"
"Machamp, Ice Punch! Then, Fire Punch!"
"I knew it! Espeon, use Mach Punch!"
Machamp fainted.
"MACHAMP! Who- who are you?"

"Here's $4,000." Harrison sighed, then turned around, and walked up to his room.
"Thanks for teaching him a lesson, Linda!"
"Your welcome. I love to battle with my pokemon!"

"I'll battle, too. Go, Dusclops! Go, Sableye!"
"Urg. Go, Milotic, and Meganium!"
"I'll help! I mean, such mean people. I mean, YOU BROKE MY BEAUTIFUL POSTERS! I will not, I will never let you go, Team Rocket 2. Go, Mismagius! And you, too, Rotom!"
"Milotic, Surf!"
"Dusclops, PROTECT!"
"Now, Mismagius, Destiny Bond!"
"Milotic, Hydro Pump! Meganium, Solarbeam!"

"Persian, Pay Day." A strange voice called.

"Boss! What are you doing here?" Megan and Jim fell to their knees.
"Mewtwo. Give me that Mewtwo."
"NEVER!" Linda shrieked.
"Oh, tell ya this, if you don't, then we'll have a sun death battle, yes? or no?"
"NO."
"OK. Sun Death battle it is. "

"No! Why, dad? WHY?"
"Jasmine! He is your dad? I thought- I though-"
"Yes, Linda. He is my dad. Oh, and to tell you the truth, I kinda lied to you. Dad killed mom. Not Starmie."
"Jasmine! How could you?!"
"Oh, also, Harrison's dad's favorite. But I hate him. Anyways, DAD! Don't do that to my best friend, please!"
"No, Never, Not Ever. Now SHUTUP! Linda, Mewtwo or not?"
"Not."
"OK. Go, Honchkrow! Use Sky Attack!"
"Milotic, Hydro Pump!"
"STOP!" Jasmine held her dad's hand up high.
"Father! It's over! You can't work with Team Rocket anymore! In the beggining, mom knew that we had no more money! I mean, she knew that we can't live anymore. Please, dad. You got hired for Team Rocket because mom begged them to give you a job! She didn't know that Team Rocket was so wicked at that time, you know. Please, dad. It's for your own good!" "NEVER! Honchkrow, Ice Beam at Jasmine!"
Jasmine was frozen solid because of her father.
"DAD! Remember when we went to the palace? DAD! You are better than this! DAD!"
Jasmine's voice echoed.
"Go, Ninetales! Ninetales, Overheat!" Linda helped.
"You cruel Giovanni, you won't even help your own daughter! YOU ARE SO CRUEL!"

As everyone's attention turned to the scene, no one noticed a new person arrive at the scene. A good person, not a bad one, so don't worry. She was a magical young girl, only about nine years old, but she had been watching Henry, Kally and the others for some time now from a magical place. Her name was Mia Jewel Swayligh. Now, Mia knew that something very evil was going to happen very soon, and if the others were wrapped up with this villan, they would not be prepared for the new one. Mia also knew absolutley nothing about pokemons, and she knew that her other friends (all which were students of a certain John Kimzey) that knew nothing about pokemons as well, were needed to help bring the adventure along. And Mia knew that this pokemon thing couldn't last for much longer, so that the children could prepare for this new evil. She had waited for too long. the evil was too near. She had to do something NOW.

Mia decided to start with Henry. Using careful skill, she stopped time. Very carefully, the girl flew over the still crowd and picked out Henry. Mia pointed at Hery, and the boy disapered. Mia too, disapered from the scene.
They turned up inside Mia's magic sphere, a secret, magical room that Mia worked in. She touched Henry on the nose, and he came to life. Henry screamed when he saw where he was. "Get away!" he yelled. Mia rolled her eyes. "Please don't do that." she said calmly. "Sit down and I'll tell you about myself." Henry did. "My name's Mia Swayligh. I'm a human being, but I hold powers, just like you. I just have many more then you do. To name a few, I can fly, read minds, turn invisible, see through time, and breathe underwater. You'll learn more later. Listen, I've stopped time because I need to talk to you. There is an evil coming. More evil then this pokemon evil. You have to stop fighting these people, grab your friends, and come with me. By the way, Megan dosen't want to fight you. She wants to distract you. She's with this evil, and she knows it's coming. You have to come with me!" Henry considered this. "What kind of evil?" he asked. Mia hesitated. "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but.... It's gang of witches, mostly. Wizards, too. the kind that dress up like normal people and live normal lives. At their head is the Red Witch. She wants your powers.Yours', Kally's, JuMin's, Nick's, and Allison's." "Who?" Henry asked. "Nick Parker and his twin sister Allison. They're kids just like you and Kally, who have powers, too. I've taken care of them. You just have to come with me." Henry nodded. "Okay. We'll go. But what about Giovanni, Linda, and Jasmine?" "I'll take care of that. you just get your friends. Hopefully we'll meet up with Linda and Jasmine later." Henry nodded. Mia blinked twice, and Henry found himself with Linda, Kally and the others again. He grabbed Kally and Jun Min and pulled them away so that he could explain things. Meanwhile, Mia sent a message to Linda's mind. It told her:

Linda, it's me, your friend Mia. There is evil coming. I'm taking Jun Min, Kally and Henry to fight it. Free Jasmine. Defeat Giovanni. Meet us at the White field to fight. We will need you soon.

Linda got the message. Mia touched Jun Min, Kally, and Henry, and one by one they disapered. Then Mia dissapeared as well. They were off to find Allison and Nick Parker and fight the Red Witch.

"What do we do with our pokemon then?" Junmin asked while practicing techniques with his grass powers. "Well, we all know that the Red Witch destracted us with Megan. So we don't have much time. No way you could stop her instantly. Your pokemon could be of some help but not much." Mia explained while they flew to a big crimson castle. "Time to rumble."

"Let us in!" Mia knocked on the door. Suddenly, they saw a pokemon that was flying in the air, with Linda on it. But she wasn't actually sitting on it. She was actually being controlled! She was trying to yank off, but the pokemon was too strong. It took her into the castle and dissapeared.
"Let's go in and find-" Henry stopped.
"WAIT! Don't go in!" A voice called.
"Why? Whoa."
There, standing in front of them, was Marina, the best trainer in the whole world. She even beated Linda once. She is the Champion of Johto Region, and with her Feraligatr, she is invinsible.
Marina.
"You are not Marina, are you?" Kally shrieked.
"Yes I am. Greetings. You must want to go in, am I correct? Well, you won't make it inside. My Feraligatr was trapped in there for like twenty days now. It's a puzzle in there. Even if you went to the end, you are still. . . well, you still have to enter a password. If you get it wrong, you are in the beggining again." Marina explained.

"But we have to save Linda!" Jun Min reminded Kally and Henry. "Ya!" Henry exclaimed.

"Wait, it doesn't matter I rock at the combinations." JunMin bragged as he stepped inside. The others followed. Inside was a hugewall in front of them. "This is easy all i have to do is fly up." JunMin took out an Aerodactyl. Everybody but the girls went up. "There seems to be a barrier that reflects girls." Henry told them. "Just follow our lead."

"Not so fast." A beautiful lady appeared. "My name's Jirasha, and welcome to heaven. You are, am I correct? Searching for Linda?" She asked.
"Ya." Henry answered.
"Well, that's impossible because- Commander!" She kneeled and a long string of red carpet rolled in front of Henry and Jun Min, and the two boiys realized they weren't aloud to use pokemon in here, OR the Aerodact yl flew away.
Team Galactic Commander Mars.
"What are you doing here, Jirasha? I thought you were working with Kimono! I mean. . . If boss knew, then she would kill you!"
"Sorry, ma'am, but there are filthy kids who are playing with pokemon in our headquarters! HOW MEAN!"
"Well, I don't care! No! Not another word. Kids, if you want to go out, then I will let you. But if no-"
"Hey! You guys are girls, huh?: Why can't OTHER girls come in here?"
"Shutup/ What's your decision?"
"I dunno."
"Hurry! DECIDE!"
"Never mind, Mars. Just never mind." A strange voice called.
"BOSS!"

Junmina
junMin brought back his pokemon. "Don't worry, I know how to use pokemon the special way. Don't worry, although I think you know that most of the pokedex holders, Red, Blue, Green, Silver, and yellow have turned into stone." Everybody was shocked. Mars grinned. Finally, her grin faded when she saw two prehistoric Aerodactyl wings come out from Jun min's back. JunMin shot out a solarbeam from his hand. Mars made it just in time before the powerful attack hit her.

"Tell me, 'filthy kids,' why are you here?" The 'Boss' commanded.
"We want to know where Linda is!" Jun Min answered.
"She's somewhere. I'm not telling you!" The Boss shook her finger.
"Well, you have to! Or else, let's have a pokemon battle! C'mon!~ Let's battle!" Henry suggested.
"I'll be the judge!" Jun Min ran to the midle.
"Okay. But you will lose. Go, Seviper! Milotic, go!"
"Two pokemon? OK! Go, Venusaur! And, Donphan! Donphan! Use Earthquake, and Venusaur, use you sepcial Protect!"
"Milotic, Hydro Pump at the ground. Use Poison Fang, Seviper. Poison Fang."
Milotic's Hydro Pump at the grouind made the rocks rise and the earthquake was blown. The rocks rose up and fell on Venusaur and Donphan.
"Wow! This Boss is so skilled! It's as if you're a Elite Four or so!" Jun Min ewxclaimed.
"I am the champion of the Orange Islands, to tell you the truth. But- I'll just faint your pokemon. Milotic, Hydro Pump at Donphan, and Seviper, Poison Gas at Venusaur."
"Venusuar! Donphan! BATTLE OFF! Winner: Boss and her um... Milotic and Pepper!"
"Pepper? It's Seviper, Jun Min, Seviper! My name is Lucy!"
"LUCY!"

"It was said that a guy called Emerald popped up and told that he would defeat all of them. Emerald beated every Frontier and even weirder, he popped out after Red, Blue, Green, Ash, Gary, Misty, Brock, Yellow, and Silver turned into stone. I also know why she was so good. She was called the master of luck. Noland is the master of the brains. I don't know about the others. One thing I know is that luck can't beat me." JunMin jumped out and challenged Lucy. "Instead you can only use one pokemon. I choose the pokemon, Matt!" A creature defenitely appeared but it was to fast to be seen. Lucy took out her Seviper and told it to use Harden. Matt and JunMin dissapeared then Seviper was hit one-hit KO! Seviper fainted but when JunMin brought back the pokemon called Matt he also fainted. When he woke up they were in front of the door. When the rest found out where he was, they congratulated him. They asked him why he fainted though. "Matt is a pokemon that was made through me and is bonded with me. I haven't strengthened my bond enough so I can only use him for a limited time. That is why I am also strengthening my bond with others so i can strengthen the bond with him. It took me all my strength to do that hit. I also dissapeared because I figured out that I should merge with him to know what he is thinking and to fight as one. That would strengthen my bond too. Now let's go and get Linda out."

Mars stood ther watching, wide-eyed. She can't velieve her boss was defeated. "'We meet again." She approached them as they entered the gate. "Want a battle?" JunMin asked.
"No! I'm Linda!" Mars turned around. Her face was Linda. "Linda!" Everyone cheered. But- "Hola friends, we meet again." GIOVANNI!"
Brawly, Giovanni's son.
"Hey! You're not Giovanni! You're Jasmine's oldest brother! BRAWLY THE GY M LEADER!

"Everything is confusing, these days." JunMin told them.

"I know! They are! Tell me, Brawly, Are you a gym leader?" asked Wilson, who just appeared.
"Yes and No. Well, I'm not so sure, really. . . but probably, ya." Brawly answered.

Meanwhile, outside the castle, Mia was still waiting with Kally. She was getting fed up. Linda was her friend, and she knew that she had to be saved, but the Red Witch was coming. And if they didn't do something, she, Kally, Henry, Jun Min, Allison, Nick, and even Jasmine and Linda would all be in MORTAL DANGER! So Mia shook her head - Jun Min and Henry were going to have to find and free Linda and Jasmine on their own, and she and Kally were going to find Allison and Nick. They had to. There was no time! So Mia touched Kally and the two disapeared. Two minutes later, both were standing in front af a gold castle. Mia knocked on the door, and it opened. Inside, two kids -a boy and a girl- were sitting in a large courtyard. Both had short brown hair and freckles, and both wore plain colored clothing - the girl was dressed in sky blue from her headband, to her skirt, and her sneakers. Her twin wore all red(and of course, had no headband and no skirt). Both jumped to their feet at the same time. "Mia!" The twins chimed in perfect unison. Mia grinned. "Kally, this is Nick and Allison. Nick has the same powers as Henry, and Allison the same as you, except for they both have X- Ray vision and can't fly. Plus, they never fight, and often finish each other's sentences." "Nice to..." Allison began. "...Meet you." Nick finished. The twins looked at one another and laughed.

"Nice to meet you, too!" Kally smiled.
"Your name is. . . " Allison started. "Kally, right?" Nick finished.
"Boy, you guys are funny!" Kally laughed.
"Enough introducing yourselves, kids, now let's try to go it! I know! Do any of you have a flying type pokemon?"
Kally shook her head, but the twins nodded. "I have a Beautifly. . . " Allison started. ". . . I have a Dustox!" Nick finished.
"Perfect! I'll use my Staraptor. Let them use their best attack. Staraptor! Brave Bird!"
"Beautifly!" Alison shouted. "Dustox!" Nick pointed. "Use double the SKY ATTACK!" The twins shouted.
"Wow." Kally was amazed. The twins had their backs together and having their thumb out, meaning that "you are thebest!" and now their pokemon have both their backs together and attacking. That was the strongest attack Kally ever saw! Brave Bird only did a little damage on the invisible wall that is protecting girls from entering, and Sky Attack did the most. AMAZING. The barrier broke. Kally, Mia, Allison and Nick went through it. Their pokemon followed.

The door had already been open in the far corridor. "I guess Jumin and Henry won against the son of Giovanni." Kally grinned. Her grin faded when she saw that it wasn't Brawly who was the son of Giovanni, it had been Silver who had turned into stone. Instead, after they went past the door, they saw Henry laying on the floor, linda was there too and a letter, but no JunMin. The letter read:

Dear so called heroes,
You never did know that I had kept Linda so i can bring you all here. I could only hold them back so I took JunMin and fainted the others. Now, i have a pokemon champion's grandson, and a very unique talented person. I never knew things like this about him, but it does seem hard to mind-control him. He has a mind that is somehow so locked up that all our hipnotizers instead were mind-controlled. I decided that he would be very useful for my new world.

"Why does this stone always come back to me?" questioned Henry as he picked up the third stone.

"Can we go now? It's already 6:47 P.M. Mum will get mad if we don't get home." Henry's sister, Kally, asked him.

"Not until this experiment will work!" Henry put on a sorrowful face.

"Henry, get back here! You, too, Kally," hollered their mother from the porch as she folded the beach towel over her arm. "It's time for your chores."

That evening while he was loading the dishwasher, Henry thought, How could a stone come skipping back? He promised himself he would go back and investigate that night.

When the Wilders were sleeping, Henry Wilder woke up at 3:00 A.M. and made his way in the darkness to the lake. He had buried the stone that afternoon. Digging up the stone now, Henry was eager to try the experiment again. "OK, take one!" Henry threw the stone into the water, but it skipped back on the reflection of the moon.

At 4:00 A.M., Henry gave up after his 31st throw. "Dumb stone,” Henry muttered softly to himself. Hey! What if this stone is magical? No, there's no magic in this world.

When Henry walked back home, Mr. and Mrs. Wilder were there, looking angry. Gulp.

"It’s 4:00 in the morning, young man! How long have you been gone?" asked Henry's mum shaking her finger at him.

"Um. Well. You see, I…"

"Go to bed," Mr. Wilder commanded, "We will talk about this tomorrow."

Henry trudged upstairs, put on his PJ's, and slowly slipped under the bedding. With a tear making its way down his cheek, he closed his eyes and got caught in a dream.

When Henry woke up, he lies there a few minutes thinking, Dad was wrong. They didn't talk about it on the 29 of July, because there was no 29 of July. Wait, is there?

Pulling the covers off him abruptly, Henry got out of bed and dashed downstairs. To his amazement, his family was doing the same things as yesterday, wearing the same clothes, eating the same food, and speaking the same conversation. Henry quickly closed his eyes and counted to ten. When he opened them again, nothing had changed. Henry breathed with difficultly.

"Hey, Henry!" shouted his sister. "Let's go toss rocks at Merry Too Park."

Henry froze. That was the same thing that Kally had asked him yesterday. He looked at his watch. Up in the top right hand corner it read, Saturday, July 29. Henry gasped, that was yesterday's date. He was reliving the same day.

Identical things happened. His clock shut off at 3:00 A.M. His DS shut down at the exact same time. But for some reason, the stones Henry had found were shaped oddly different this time. Henry realized, it must've been a dream!

No, it couldn’t have been a dream, he thought. Henry knelt down by the bank of the lake in Merry Too Park, and stared into his reflection. No!

"Can we go now? It's already 6:47 P.M. Mum will get mad if we don't get home." Kally, asked him as before.

“Ah, yeah,” Henry answered. As Kally and Henry walked back to their house, Henry noticed something that he didn’t see yesterday.

Behind the large rock were four small golden rocks. Could they have been there yesterday? Henry thought.

KatieQ:
No, he decided. They were not there yesterday. Wanting to examine the stones carefully, Henry picked up one and took it home. All night he couldn't help but think about the stone. Henry was so preoccupied that he forgot to put on his PJ's and got into bed with his clothes on.

Even though he wasn't planning on getting up early again, the next morning like clockwork he woke up at 3:00A.M. Suddenly, like a magnet was pulling him, Henry staggered down the hill to the lake. He couldn't stop walking, as his feet were directing him to the same spot he stood before. Henry paused. His hand was moving to the upper pocket of his Levi's where he had put the golden stone, but this time when he pulled out his hand, the stone was clear blood red.

With his body leaning to his right in a rock skipping position, Henry threw the stone with all his might, fixated on the glowing crimson gemstone bouncing on the surface of the water.

"Hellllp meeee," moaned an eerie scratchy voice that seemed to come from the rock as it returned to shore.

"Ah!" bellowed Henry trying to run, but his feet would not follow his command. He stared in disbelief, but found himself picking up the stone again and throwing it exactly as he had the day before. It returned.

What is going on? This is crazy, Henry thought as he head back home at 4:00 A.M. When he got home, his parents were waiting for him as he had expected, as they had the night before, but now his parents were zombies.

"Uh, Mom?" Henry asked without fear. "Why are you a zombie?"

"I'm not a zombie. I just... uhh... had an accident in the bathroom. Yeah, that’s it. I had an accident in the bathroom."

"Mom, are you all right?"

"Yes, of course. Um, well, you see, I don't know what happened to me. I just woke up, and I was covered in toilet paper."

HualinS:
"You sure? I mean, I didn't hear you waking up," Henry questioned.

"Never mind, Darling. Where's your daddy?"

"What? Daddy's not here yet? Why? I just saw him earlier, about a minute ago."

Suddenly, sounds of something breaking were coming from the lake house.

"George? Honey, is that you?" Mrs. Wilder hollered towards the bungalow.

Another crash.

"Dad?" "George?"

More crashes, then a high-pitched scream that put shivers down your back.

"Where's Kally?" asked Henry.

"She's out with your dad. She got lost, too, so I went out to find you and your dad went to find Kally."

"Mom? Henry?" a familiar voice called.

"Kally?"

"Henry? Open the door!"

"Uh, okay."

Kally came in. She was drenched in sweat.

"Why did you get lost?" Henry was suspicious.

"I was worried about you, so I went to find you. While I was combing the beach for any sign of you, I found two golden stones on the lakeside of Merry Too Park," she explained, taking off her jacket and dropping it to the deck.

"Where's dad?"

"Not sure."

"Kally! Isn't George with you, Darling?" asked Mrs.Wilder with fear in her voice.

Just then, another crash. Screaming! Then, to their amazement, silence.

SamanthaD:
Henry closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He didn’t know how long he stood there like that, but when Henry opened his eyes again, he was standing on the beach where he had first thrown the stone.

Henry looked into the clear water and gasped. There was an image there, an image of his home. The picture began to move, and Henry saw his father laying on the floor, his mother slumped in a chair, both knocked out, and Kally, sitting on the floor and crying. "Henry! Henry, where are you?" she sobbed.

Suddenly a shadow passed over her, and Henry heard a scream. Kally was gone. The image faded, but then Henry heard a scream from behind him. He spotted Kally being dragged under the water. Henry screamed. A dolphin popped out of the water and, without a moment's hesitation, Henry hopped on its back and it pulled Henry under the water as they sprinted after Kally.

JunMinA:
It was a weird sensation! Henry felt the warm morning water all over his body. He opened his eyes and found himself on the dolphin with something in front of him. He could barely make out it could be. Then he was lost in his own thought. Henry was feeling extremely sleepy but fought himself back to consciousness.

He then remembered what started this. He stared at his pocket. “This is all the rock's fault,” he shouted, but instead it came out as a gurgle as he hurled through the water on the dolphin.

The mayor immediatley jumped in his ferrari and drove 100mph through the town and to the lip of the cliff there was Megan and her dark palace full of broomsticks. Snap snap snap, is what the mayor heard coming from the dark palace. Then slowly the palace started falling back. Splash the palace was now in the ocean. And the people of Abbyisvillle thought Megan, the witch, was gone. But all of a sudden there Megan was flying on her broom.

Once upon a time, there was a twelve-year-old girl named Annabelle, Anna for short. She had long brown hair and bright green eyes. Her heart was made of beauty and kindness, and her mind was full of imagination, kind thoughts, and thoughtfulness. But most of the kids in the school felt too, "grown up" to bother with her. To them, Anna was just another student, another classmate, another boring kid that they just didn't want to burden themselves with. All except one. A boy by the name of Peter thought that Anna was the most interesting girl he'd ever met. Peter was plenty friendly, and many kids liked him. Anna, for one, had no friends, except for Peter.

Anna loved to read. She loved books more then almost anything else in the world, except for her parents, (Anna was an only child) and Peter,(although of course, she didn't technically love him). She visited the local library three times a week, (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) and spent hours there, devouring one book after the other. The library was called Mr. Linden's Library, and the librarian, Mr. G. Linden, was an old, kindly man with sparkling blue eyes and a knack for finding the perfect books for kids. He and Anna were good friends. (Anna supposed that her three best friends, the only ones she had in the world, were Peter, Mr. Linden, and her cat, Cinders).

Anna was scanning the shelves one day, hoping to find something about knights, mermaids, or dragons, when her eyes fell upon an old green book the color of ivy. Anna picked it up and blew off the dust. Any book that looked old and ancient was always perfect for her. She added it to the stack of the other five books she had selected already and walked to the checkout counter.

Mr. Linden picked up the old book. "Anna, are you sure you want that one?"

Anna was puzzled. Mr. Linden had never asked her that before. "Of course I'm sure, Mr. Linden. Why?" The old man shook his head.

"I believe we've had....ah....some trouble with that book in the past. Maybe you'd like to set it here, and let me take it." He patted the table.

Anna shook her head. "I'll be fine, Mr. Linden. Really. There's really no need." Mr. Linden frowned.

"All right, Anna. But I want it back by Thursday. Understand?"

Anna could see the sternness in his deep blue eyes, and even -could it be?- the slightest hint of fear. Anna pushed that thought aside. "I understand, Mr. Linden. Don't worry." Anna picked up the book and left the library.

Late that night, Anna was reading the ivy book. It was the story of a cruel dragon who killed and captured many. Soon, however, she fell asleep over her story. But while she was sleeping, thin, ivy vines came slowly creeping out of the book. Some crept across the floor and headed toward Anna's open window, while the rest crawled toward her. One wrapped around her wrist. The others started to creep over her body.

Mr. Linden had been right to want to keep the story. He had warned her about the book. Now it was too late.

When Chris Van Allsburg was invited to the home of Peter Wenders, he discovered fourteen drawings that were, like pieces of a picture puzzle, clues to larger pictures. But the puzzles, the mysteries, presented by these drawings, are not what we are used to. They are not solved for us, as in the final pages of a book or a film's last reel. The solutions to these mysteries lie in a place at once closer at hand, yet far more remote. They lie in our imagination.

For those who have thought of themselves as unimaginative, this book will prove the opposite. Even the most reluctant imagination, when confronted by these drawings, will not be able to resist solving the mysteries of Harris Burdick.

Exclamatory Sentences

An interjection is a word that expresses feeling or emotion. It is usually followed by an exclamation mark. The two quotations below express strong feelings. The first quotation contains an interjection.

“Wow!” screamed Drishti as she looked at Demetri's pet iguana.

“That’s great!” cried Nina as she threw her glue sheet in the recycle box.

Don’t use the word “said.” Use a variety of verbs or synonyms instead of “said.” You might try stressed, fumed, scoffed, scolded, or snapped.

Commas and Periods

Commas and Periods are ALWAYS
Inside the Quotation Marks

Sometimes a quotation is divided into two parts.

If the two parts make one sentence, use commas to separate the quotation from the words that tell who spoke. The second quoted statement begins with a lowercase letter and ends with a period exclamation mark, or question mark.

1. “Maya Anjulie,” muttered Aman as he picked up his pencil, “let me help you.”

If a divided quotation is two separate sentences, use a comma just like you would an ordinary direct quotes and a period after the words that tell who spoke. Begin the second sentence with a capital letter and end with a period, exlamation mark, or question mark.

2. “Robert is outside,” Thomas shouted to the class. “He’s my new friend.”

Don’t use the word “said.” Use a variety of verbs or synonyms instead of “said.” You might try replied, snickered, wailed, begged, or added.

What is an Adverb?

Basically, most adverbs tell you how, where, or when something is done.

Here are some examples:

Type	Adverb	Example
HOW	slowly	Anne eats her lunch slowly.
WHERE	*Mr. Kimzey's classroom*	The Got the Gold Bash is going to take place in Mr. Kimzey's classroom.
WHEN	*yesterday*	Lauren called Ishira yesterday.

Adverbs / Adverb Phrases / Adverb Clauses

Look at these sentences:

Josh invited Mr. Kimzey to dinner yesterday.
In the this sentence, "yesterday" is a one-word adverb.

I saw John win the race on Friday.
"On Friday" is an adverb phrase/prepositional phrase.

I saw the movie before I left for Singapore
"before I left for Singapore" is a adverb clause.

All of three sentences above answer the question "when."

But the adverb clause (before I left for Singapore) has a subject "I" and a verb "left."

The adverb clause is introduced by the preposition "before," and it is a dependent clause. This means that this clause must include a full sentence, as it cannot stand alone.

"Before I left for Singapore" is not a full sentence. Reading this clause, the reader is waiting for additional information, and this information MUST be provided to make a complete sentence. Otherwise, it is just a clause and is improper grammar by itself.

(before I left for Singapore) needs the main clause (I saw the movie.), which is a complete sentence. "I" is the subject and "saw" is the verb.

For your 5CS (Five Creative Sentences), you will be writing sentences each week that include an adverbial clause flip-flop using the following words: While, If, As, Because, When

An easy way to write the adverbial clause flip-flop is to simply write a sentence using one of the words above. Then do Da Flip-Flop.

Example: Using the word "while"

While: A cockroach scurried across the floor while Richard was brushing his teeth. (no comma)
Da Flip-Flop: While Richard was brushing his teeth, a cockroach scurried across the floor. (must have a comma for Da Flip-Flop)

When you read "While Richard was brushing his teeth," aren't you waiting to receive more information? What happened while this person was brushing their teeth? It is incomplete and is therefore NOT a sentence.

ASSIGNMENT

1. Write a sentence with an adverbial clause.
2. Do Da Flip-Flop.
3. Change the color of the main clause (can stand alone) to blue.
4. Change the color of the adverbial clause, a dependent clause (cannot stand alone), to red.
5. When you do Da Flip-Flop, be sure to add a comma at the end of the clause and change the color of the comma to BOLD GREEN.
6. Number your first sentence (1.)
7. Number your Flip-Flop sentence (2.)
8. Your clauses must begin with one of these words: while, if, as, because, when
