In the morning some times I say it's going to be a bad day because there's going to be a test, something big and if I'm reaaly tired. Sometimes Ithink it's going to be a bad day because I'm bored. When I read Journey to the River Sea, I felt the first few pages were boring and then the book spun in to a magnificent tale that made me want to keep reading! 3 out of 7 found this valuable. My connection is that I remember when I was in kindergrden in British Columbia, Canada, and my teacher, Mrs. Conningham taught us a song called the "Alphabet Song." Mrs. Conningham called on each of us so we could give a word for the letter 'A'. There was a boy called Tony, and he said, "Applehole." Everyone laughed so hard! Then, Mrs. Conningham asked Tony, "do you mean apple or hole? There is NO Applehole." 6 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 27 2007, 6:08 PM EST When Attean started to ask good questions at the end the paragraph about the storm, Matt felt good. By the way, I have another connection with Matt. When Matt started to teach Attean the ABC's, he said A was for arm and so on. My sister knows her ABC's and says A is for apple even though she knows other words that begin with "A". 3 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |
